Abstract

The rapid development of information technology has brought various innovations and ideas that facilitate access to various systems, including population administration and government document management. The implementation of e-government through stages of transformation, improvement, restructuring, revitalization, and updating development priorities and the smart city concept enables the public to obtain accurate information through city or district government applications, reducing the need to visit relevant agencies in person. Sidoarjo Regency, one of the regencies in East Java Province, strives to improve public services through the launch of the SI-PRAJA application. This application has been operational since 2021 and continues to evolve, encompassing various government agencies. Wage Village, part of Sidoarjo Regency, has adopted the SI-PRAJA application to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of public services. This study examines the dissemination of the SI-PRAJA application in Wage Village using the perspective of innovation diffusion and evaluates its impact on user satisfaction. The study's results indicate that the PIECES model variables significantly affect user satisfaction. The benefits of this research include academic contributions, improved quality of life for residents, and practical recommendations for village governments to enhance public administration services through digital technology.

Abstract

Dalam penelitian ini, penulis membahas tentang Kecemasan Dan Ketidakpastian Mahasiswa Papua Dalam Menghadapi Stereotipe Negatif Dalam Lingkungan Sosial Masyarakat Di Malang Jawa Timur. Malang merupakan salah satu kota yang terdapat di Provinsi Jawa Timur. Malang menjadi salah satu kota yang banyak dituju oleh mahasiswa yang berasal dari Papua untuk menempuh pendidikan tinggi. Stereotipe negatif sering kali dieratkan kepada mahasiswa Papua yang ada di Malang. Hal ini dikarenakan kekurangan informasi dan berita-berita yang beredar tentang mahasiswa Papua itu sendiri. Akibatnya, dalam beberapa kasus, mahasiswa Papua di Malang mendapatkan perilaku diskriminatif dan rasis. Hal ini secara tidak langsung mempengaruhi psikologi dari mahasiswa Papua sendiri yang dimana kebanyakan dari mereka merasa cemas akibat dari perilaku tersebut. Pada penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan metode penelitian wawancara dengan langsung turun lapang dan melakukan interview kepada beberapa mahasiswa Papua di Malang. Hasil yang didapati dari penelitian ini adalah, akibat dari perilaku tersebut mahasiswa Papua di Malang menadi sedikit sulit untuk beradaptasi dengan lingkungan sekitar karena stereotipe negatif yang melekat di benak masyarakat Malang.

Abstract

This research has a background from the existence of an organizational communication process during the Covid-19 pandemic which took place within the TNI Headquarters Kogartap III organization in Surabaya, which involved commanders and members of TNI soldiers. The purpose of this study was to find out how organizational communication and organizational communication barriers were in Kogartap III Surabaya during the Covid-19 pandemic. The theories used are the classical management theory by Henri Fayol and organizational communication barriers. Based on the research results, there are 5 elements of management that are used based on Henri Fayol's classical management theory. The first is planning by forming continuous, tentative, and incidental work programs. The second is organizing, with an organizational structure based on a hierarchy and vertical flow. Third, namely commanding, that the head of the work unit has the authority and responsibility for the implementation of management activities. Fourth, namely coordinating, coordination is carried out on tasks so that they are in accordance with the main tasks and functions. Fifth, namely controlling, monitoring and evaluating work programs during the Covid-19 pandemic. In the process of organizational communication during the Covid-19 pandemic, Kogartap III relied on technological media such as WhatsApp, Zoom, and the Kogartap E-Office to carry out communication and coordination in assignments. The obstacles found in it include ecological obstacles due to restrictions during the Covid-19 pandemic and technical obstacles due to the difficulty of internet networks and organizational members having difficulties using the latest technological media.
