Abstract

Dairy farmers from the Mulyo Farmers group, located in Mulyorejo Village, Sukun District, Malang City, are experiencing problems with feed productivity because dairy cows require fresh grass for their consumption. The cow dung on this farm has not been utilized properly, resulting in waste that can pollute the river flow in the surrounding environment. The purpose of this service is to provide solutions to these issues. The methods used in this service include socialization about the dangers of cow dung waste and its utilization, training in creating milk packaging with market value, and developing tools for shredding and drying cow dung. The results of this service activity indicate that farmers can save time and money on feed purchases by up to 30% because the grass can be chopped and consumed by all the cows. Additionally, cow dung can be dried and sold, increasing the income of the Farmers Group. Public knowledge about the dangers of cow dung and its utilization increased from level 2 to level 6, while awareness of dairy product packaging improved from 10% to 40%.

Abstract

This research examines the mapping of nutritional status in toddlers as an important indicator for assessing child health and development, focusing on the Lowokwaru Health Center in Malang. Data shows that the mapping of nutritional status is still not accurate, prompting this study to identify toddlers at risk of stunting and design appropriate interventions. Quick and accurate mapping of nutritional status is crucial for reducing the risk of stunting and preventing malnutrition in toddlers. The data used comes from anthropometric measurements, including height-for-age (HAZ), weight-for-height (WHZ), and weight-for-age (WAZ). The method applied is K-Means clustering, where, after preprocessing the data, the researchers determine the number of clusters and centroids. Grouping is conducted by calculating Euclidean distance. The results indicate that 75% of toddlers at the Lowokwaru Health Center are experiencing excess nutrition and are at risk of stunting. These findings provide a strong basis for enhancing interventions and preventing stunting in the region.

Abstract

Kehadiran Internet of Things (IoT) beberapa tahun terakhir mulai terasa dan nyata dalam keseharian. Namun, membangun sistem IoT bukanlah hal yang sepele, aplikasi Blynk hadir menawarkan solusi yang lebih praktis untuk menyatukan antara perangkat keras seperti sensor dan aktuator dengan platform digital yang mampu mengelola data dan perintah secara efisien. Penelitian ini bertujuan melihat bagaimana sistem dapat bekerja secara otomatis dalam merespons suhu lingkungan, sekaligus tetap memberikan ruang bagi kontrol manual melalui aplikasi. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan eksperimen terapan melalui kegiatan praktikum berbasis proyek. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Blynk menunjukan kinerja yang sangat memuaskan dalam pengukuran suhu dan kelembapan. Sistem ini mampu menampilkan nilai suhu secara real time baik melalui serial monitor maupun aplikasi Blynk mobile, sehingga memudahkan pengguna untuk memantau kondisi lingkungan secara langsung.
