Abstract

The interaction between organizational culture, information technology (IT) adoption, and firm performance is pivotal in today's competitive landscape. This study explores how specific cultural characteristics, such as innovation, collaboration, learning, leadership, and openness to change, influence the level and type of IT adoption within companies. Findings reveal that a culture fostering these traits enhances overall IT adoption, consequently improving operational efficiency, responsiveness, and agility, ultimately impacting firm performance positively. However, barriers such as resistance to change must be overcome, emphasizing the critical role of organizational culture in shaping IT adoption strategies and driving business success. For future research, it would be valuable to investigate how emerging technologies interact with organizational culture to further enhance firm performance.
