<![CDATA[ABSTRACT Prevention and control of Covid-19 is any form of effort made by the government, and/or the community to reduce the risks, problems, and overcome the adverse effects of Covid-19 to protect the community, and reduce the number of people infected to death, and to reduce the social impact of Covid-19.The formulation of the problem "How is the effectiveness of the implementation of Article 66 paragraph (1) letter B of West Kalimantan provincial regulation Number 1 of 2023 concerning the adaptation of new habits in the prevention and control of COVID-19 in the West Kalimantan provincial office area?". This study aims to determine the effectiveness of new customs policies in the work environment of the Office of the law Bureau of the Regional Secretariat of West Kalimantan. This study uses empirical legal research methods by describing the circumstances at the time of research and analyzing to draw conclusions. The nature of this research is descriptive. Data analysis used for research is qualitative data analysis.The results of the study obtained, that the level of compliance of civil servants in implementing the adaptation of new habits for the prevention and control of COVID-19 is still not fully optimal. Although there are clear policies and guidelines related to health protocols, implementation in the field shows the existence of various obstacles and challenges. That the factors causing the lack of compliance with the implementation of the policy is still a lack of socialization and education, the old habits and work culture that has been formed previously become a challenge in adapting new habits. ABSTRAK Pencegahan dan pengendalian Covid-19 adalah segala bentuk upaya yang dilakukan oleh pemerintah, dan/atau masayarakat untuk mengurangi risiko, masalah, dan menanggulangi dampak buruk akibat Covid-19 untuk melindungi masyarakat, dan menurunkan jumlah orang yang terinfeksi hingga meninggal dunia, serta untuk mengurangi dampak sosial akibat Covid-19.Adapun rumusan masalah "Bagaimana efektivitas pengimplementasian dari pasal 66 ayat (1) huruf B Peraturan Daerah Provinsi Kalimantan Barat Nomor 1 Tahun 2023 tentang adaptasi kebiasaan baru dalam pencegahan dan pengendalian COVID-19 di wilayah kantor Provinsi Kalimantan Barat?". Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas kebijakan kebiasaan baru di lingkungan kerja Kantor Biro Hukum Sekretariat Daerah Kalimantan Barat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian hukum empiris yaitu dengan menggambarkan keadaan pada waktu penelitian dan menganalisa hingga mengammbil kesimpulan. Sifat penelitian ini adalah deskriptif. Analisa data yang digunakan untuk penelitian adalah analisa data kualitatif.Hasil dari penelitian yang didapatkan, bahwa tingkat kepatuhan Pegawai Negeri Sipil dalam menerapkan adaptasi kebiasaan baru untuk pencegahan dan pengendalian COVID-19 masih belum sepenuhnya optimal. Meskipun terdapat kebijakan dan pedoman yang jelas terkait protokol kesehatan, pelaksanaan di lapangan menunjukkan adanya berbagai kendala dan tantangan. Bahwa faktor penyebab kurangnya kepatuhan pelaksanaan kebijakan adalah masih kurangnya Sosialisasi dan Edukasi, adanya Kebiasaan lama dan Budaya Kerja yang sudah terbentuk sebelumnya menjadi tantangan dalam mengadaptasi kebiasaan baru.
