Abstract

Halal tourism is part of tourism aimed at Muslim families who adhere to or obey Islamic law. The purpose of the study was to find out halal tourism applied at Syariah Hotel Solo in Surakarta. Knowing the obstacles applied in halal tourism at Syariah Hotel Solo in Surakarta. The results of the study Implementation and Syariah Hotel Solo in Surakarta is a process of integrating Islamic values into all aspects of activities at the hotel. The value of Islamic law as one of the elements of faith and belief adhered to by Muslims becomes a basic reference in building hotel activities. The criteria that must be met by every Islamic hotel in the form of Absolute Criteria that apply to the Hilal-1 Syariah hotel business. The obstacles applied in halal tourism at Sharia Hotel Solo in Surakarta are the absence of clear religious laws against Islamic hotels, many consider conventional hotels and Islamic hotels to be the same, the lack of promotion carried out by Islamic hotels, there is no support from Islamic mass organizations (Ormas), the lack of facilities that can attract public attention, there is an assumption that Islamic hotels are only specifically for Islam, it takes a relatively large amount of money to make facilities in Islamic hotels, for example: separate swimming pools, separate fitness or gym centers, construction of prayer rooms / mosques. Licensing at the National Sharia Council-MUI is still convoluted, which must meet the hilal-1 and hilal-2 criteria, as many as 26 items that must be met. There is still a complicated bureaucracy in licensing halal certification. The lack of sharia hotel certification is inversely proportional to the growing trend of increasing halal tourism. There is no specific regional regulation governing the development and management of halal tourism and Islamic hotels in the Surakarta area.

Abstract

The concept of sharia-based tourism is a concept that integrates sharia values into tourism activities by providing products, management and services that are in accordance with the provisions that apply in Islam (sharia). The research objective is how to apply the concept of sharia in the Surakarta Syariah Hotel. What are the obstacles in applying the sharia concept at the Surakarta Syariah Hotel. Based on the results of implementing the sharia concept in sharia hotels including products, management and services, they are still in the process of adjusting to the regulations that apply according to the provisions, basically these sharia-based hotels have a mechanism that refers to the Al-Quran and Hadith. This means that in offering its services, sharia hotels must prioritize halal both in the process and product results and implement sharia services. From several samples of sharia hotels in Surakarta, it turns out that there are still a number of hotels that do not have complete data, namely they do not yet have a halal certificate (in process) and have not fully implemented sharia kafah (fully). However, sharia-based hotels are a good start for development so that there is no sustainable disobedience in society. So that Muslim people who have a fairly good level of faith feel that the sharia hotel is in accordance with the provisions and concepts of sharia, because they can get a comfortable and blessed place to rest. The application of the sharia hotel concept in Surakarta that has been implemented is a process of integrating Islamic values into all aspects of activities and management in sharia hotels in Surakarta. The value of Islamic law as a belief and belief adhered to by Muslims is the basic reference in building hotel activities.

Abstract

The concept of halal tourism is a concept that integrates sharia values into tourism activities by providing facilities and services that comply with sharia provisions. halal purposes. Meanwhile, the aim of this research is to determine the influence of products, services and management on Muslim families' interest in staying overnight at sharia hotels in Surakarta. The population in this study were hotel customers/consumers who were staying at sharia hotels in Surakarta, while the sample was 36 hotel customers/consumers who were staying at sharia hotels in Surakarta. The results of this research are that the product variable (X1) has a significant effect on interest in staying overnight. The service variable (X2) has a significant effect on interest in staying and the management variable (X3) has a significant effect on interest in staying.

Abstract

Wisata halal adalah bagian dari wisata yang ditujukan kepada keluarga muslim yang menganut atau menaati syariat Islam. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pariwisata halal yang diterapkan Syariah Hotel Solo di Surakarta serta mengetahui kendala yang diterapkan dalam pariwisata halal Syariah Hotel Solo. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling dan snowball sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan pariwisata halal Syariah Hotel Solo di Surakarta merupakan proses pengintegrasian nilai-nilai Islam ke dalam seluruh aspek kegiatan di hotel tersebut. Nilai syariat Islam sebagai salah satu unsur keyakinan dan keyakinan yang dianut oleh umat Islam menjadi acuan dasar dalam membangun kegiatan hotel. Kriteria yang harus dipenuhi oleh setiap hotel syariah berupa kriteria absolut yang berlaku pada bisnis hotel Syariah Hilal-1. Kendala yang diterapkan dalam pariwisata halal Syariah Hotel Solo di Surakarta yaitu belum adanya hukum agama yang jelas terhadap hotel syariah; banyak yang menganggap hotel konvensional dan hotel syariah sama; masih kurangnya promosi yang dilakukan oleh hotel syariah; tidak ada dukungan dari Ormas Islam; kurangnya fasilitas yang dapat menarik perhatian masyarakat; ada anggapan bahwa hotel syariah hanya khusus untuk agama Islam; perlu biaya yang relatif besar untuk membuat fasilitas di hotel syariah, misalnya: kolam renang terpisah, fitnes terpisah atau gym center, pembangunan mushola/masjid; perizinan di Dewan Syariah Nasional-MUI masih berbelit-belit yang harus memenuhi kriteria hilal-1 dan hilal-2, sebanyak 26 item yang harus dipenuhi; masih terdapat birokrasi yang rumit dalam perizinan sertifikasi halal; minimnya sertifikasi hotel syariah berbanding terbalik dengan tren peningkatan wisata halal yang terus berkembang; belum ada peraturan daerah khusus yang mengatur tentang pengembangan dan pengelolaan wisata halal dan hotel syariah di wilayah Surakarta; pandemi COVID-19 membuat semua aktivitas terkait pariwisata terhenti.
