Abstract

Implementing policies entails taking action on the part of the public or private sectors to accomplish the goals outlined in earlier policy choices. One social project in the sphere of education that aims to assist impoverished people in participating in school is the Smart Indonesia Program (PIP). Using the theories of G. Shabbir Cheema and Dennis A. Rondinelli—which take organizational resources, interorganizational relationships, environmental conditions, and the traits or skills of implementing agents—this study seeks to assess the Smart Indonesia Program's implementation in Serang City. Qualitative research methodologies and literature reviews were employed in this study. In literature research, data and information are gathered from a variety of library sources, including reference books, articles, journals, memos, and prior research findings that are pertinent to the kind of study being done. To solve the issues at hand, data collecting, processing, and reasoning tasks are methodically carried out utilizing particular approaches or strategies. Qualitative research uses a variety of current techniques and is carried out in a natural environment with the goal of interpreting the phenomena that occur. The study's is findings demonstrated that, despite certain ongoing challenges, the Smart Indonesia Program's implementation in Serang City has been doing smoothly.

Abstract

Good Governance is generally defined as the proper management of government based oncertain rules and fundamental principles. A "good" government in this context refers to one that adheresto the core principles of Good Governance, namely participation, rule of law, transparency, responsiveness,consensus orientation, equity, effectiveness and efficiency, accountability, strategic vision, and mutualopenness. Tangerang Live is a digital platform specifically created for the residents of Tangerang City withthe aim of enhancing their quality of life and overall welfare. This application offers various features suchas up-to-date information, public services, and interactive features that facilitate communication betweenthe public and the local government. The purpose of this study is to examine whether the implementationof the Tangerang Live application aligns with the principles of Good Governance. The research methodused is a literature review (library research) by collecting data and information from theoretical literature,e-journals, and relevant books related to the topic of study. The results indicate that the implementation ofthe Tangerang Live application in improving public services in Tangerang City has generally beensuccessful and reflects several principles of Good Governance. However, there are still a number ofchallenges that need to be addressed to ensure the platform's optimal and sustainable performance.
