Abstract

Ekosistem lebah dalam Al-Qur'an memiliki makna mendalam yang dapat dianalisis menggunakan pendekatan semiotika Roland Barthes. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis simbolisme lebah dalam surah An-Nahl ayat 68-69, dengan pendekatan kualitatif melalui metode studi pustaka (library research). Dalam analisis semiotika Barthes, makna tahap pertama sistem linguistik (denotasi) mengacu pada lebah sebagai makhluk yang diilhami Tuhan untuk membuat sarang, memakan buah-buahan, dan menghasilkan madu sebagai obat bagi manusia. Sementara itu, makna tahap kedua sistem mitologi (konotasi) mencakup nilai-nilai simbolis seperti ketaatan, kedisiplinan, kerja sama, persaudaraan, kepedulian terhadap alam dan lingkungan, serta bermanfaat bagi sekitar. Lebih jauh makna mitologi dari semiotika Barths ini, menjadi mitos yang menghubungkan nilai-nilai agama dengan praktik kehidupan sehari-hari, mengajak manusia untuk merenungkan keteraturan alam sebagai refleksi kekuasaan Tuhan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa simbolisme lebah dalam surah An-Nahl ayat 68-69 tidak hanya menawarkan inspirasi spiritual, tetapi juga membuka wawasan tentang hubungan harmonis antara manusia dan alam. Pendekatan semiotika Barthes memberikan pemahaman mendalam tentang bagaimana simbol-simbol ini membentuk praktik dan refleksi spiritual dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.

Abstract

This article analyzes Ismail Al-Ascholy’s interaction patterns on his Instagram account @ismailascholy, focusing on the formation of interpretive authority in digital dakwah. This study uses a netnography approach to examine the interaction between Ismail Al-Ascholy and his followers, as well as Max Weber’s authority framework to explore the types of authority he possesses. The analysis reveals that Ismail Al-Ascholy embodies traditional and charismatic religious authority. His traditional authority stems from cultural legitimacy through his lineage as a descendant of Kyai Khalil Bangkalan, a prominent religious scholar, and his position as the leader of a pesantren. His charismatic authority is formed through personal appeal via persuasive communication style, emotionally resonant spiritual narratives, and direct interactions that build trust and strengthen his charisma on social media. Using a netnographic approach, it was found that interactions on the Instagram account @ismailascholy are participatory and interactive, where followers actively contribute to interpretive discourse. Followers engage in discussions, question and answer sessions, and the dissemination of tafsir content. These findings indicate that digital dakwah is changing religious relationship patterns, where the authority of tafsir is not only determined by traditional religious structures but also by social dynamics that develop in virtual spaces, creating an authority that is more flexible and responsive to the needs of followers.

Abstract

Abstract : The debate between realism and instrumentalism in the philosophy of science has become one of the central topics concerning the nature of scientific truth and the relationship between scientific theories and reality. These two approaches offer contrasting perspectives on the role of scientific theories: realism views scientific theories as accurate representations of an objective world, while instrumentalism regards them merely as tools for predicting phenomena without making ontological claims about their truth. This study employs a literature review and conceptual analysis to compare the realist and instrumentalist viewpoints in the philosophy of science and to identify the uncertainty of truth that arises between them. The aim of this research is to understand the uncertainty of truth within the debate between realism and instrumentalism and its relevance to the development of contemporary science. The findings suggest that the uncertainty of truth is not a weakness of science, but rather an essential feature that allows for the growth and revision of theories. This article aims to contribute to a deeper understanding of the dynamics of the philosophy of science and its implications for scientific practice in the modern era.

Abstract

The development of digital da’wah, particularly Qur’anic interpretation on social media platforms such as Instagram, has provided broad access to Islamic teachings while simultaneously raising serious challenges regarding authenticity and scholarly quality. Moderate figures like Nadirsyah Hosen (@nadirsyahhosen_official) have become prominent in presenting Qur’anic interpretation on Instagram; however, specific studies on the authenticity and quality of his interpretations on this platform remain limited. This study aims to analyze the authenticity and quality of Qur’anic interpretation presented by Nadirsyah Hosen on his Instagram account. This research employs a qualitative method with a content analysis approach. The primary data consist of three selected posts from @nadirsyahhosen_official, chosen purposively and analyzed based on parameters of authenticity (fidelity to authoritative Islamic sources) and quality (methodology, relevance, and argumentation). The findings indicate that Nadirsyah Hosen’s interpretations maintain strong authenticity, as evidenced by consistent references to the Qur’an, hadith, and classical scholars’ views. In terms of quality, his approach predominantly combines maudhu’i (thematic) and contextual methods, articulated through poetic and Sufi-inspired language. Hosen successfully translates classical theological concepts into responses to contemporary digital-age issues, such as the crisis of meaning and challenges to faith arising from social media dynamics. This study concludes that Hosen’s Qur’anic interpretations on Instagram represent a model of digital da’wah that effectively integrates scholarly authenticity with communicative quality, resulting in content that is relevant, aesthetically engaging, and transformative for the digital audience.
