Abstract

Abstract—Introduction/Main Objectives: This article aims to explain the character values found in batik, which focuses on Jepara batik. Research Methods: this article uses a research method with a descriptive qualitative research type and a hermeneutic approach. The samples are batik motif lung gunung, motif lung cinta jepara, motif lung ngrembaka, motif lung merak and motif lung wuni. This article uses data collection techniques including literacy studies, documentation, interviews and observation. In the part of the interview that was conducted was freely guided, so the data collection was only with an outline in terms of interviewing the sources. Meanwhile, the data obtained in this article is analyzed with descriptive qualitative. Finding/Results: This article has the result of describing the five motifs of Jepara carving lung-lungan there are character values and these character values can be used as a means to form character in every student at school.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the learning trajectory of data analysis in the Fase A class using the case study or action research method in the context of traditional food from cassava with the PMRI (Indonesian Realistic Mathematics Education) approach. The focus of this research is on the diversity of traditional foods made from cassava. The research method used is action research which involves Fase A class students in understanding and analyzing data related to traditional food that uses cassava as the main ingredient. Through the PMRI approach, students are encouraged to understand not only the mathematical aspects of the data, but also the cultural aspects and local wisdom related to the food. The results of this research indicate that by applying PMRI in teaching, students can be more actively involved in collecting, analyzing and interpreting data about traditional cassava food. They learn how to convert quantitative information into a deeper qualitative understanding of the rich culture around them

Abstract

Low learning outcomes, especially in IPAS subjects, are often caused by students becoming passive and disengaged in class when learning is dominated by lecture methods (teacher-centered). Thus, the purpose of this study is to investigate how well the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) model, combined with question-ball media, affects fourth-grade students' learning outcomes. In this study, a quantitative, one-group pretest-posttest design was used, with 24 students from SDN 03 Sidigede as the research subjects. The instrument in this study was a validated learning outcome test, and the data analysis involved normality testing and N-Gain analysis using IBM SPSS version 25. According to the analysis, using the TGT model with question-ball media improved student learning outcomes. This is indicated by the N-Gain values in the moderate improvement category for the concept understanding and skills processes, which are 0.57 and 0.54, respectively. These findings indicate that implementing the TGT model with the help of question ball media not only improves learning outcomes but also encourages active student participation in learning, strengthens learning motivation, and helps students understand IPAS concepts more contextually through game activities and group work.
