Abstract

Abstract This research is motivated by the oddity of Mbah Munshorif and his book. Mbah Munshorif is not an educated person but has an extraordinary book containing Sufism lessons, one of which explains about wuṣūl to Allah. To find out the figure of Mbah Munshorif and his concept of wuṣūl to Allah, the author then conducted a research with the title "Tasawuf Nusantara: The Concept of Wuṣūl from the Perspective of Mbah Munshorif in the Book of Al-Bidayat Majallatun Nihayat" with a qualitative research method that uses interviews and analysis of Mbah Munshorif's documents. From the research that has been done, it can be seen that Mbah Munshorif is a community leader who has the uniqueness of having many students from various regions, some of whom are educated and educated people, even pesantren caretakers and lecturers. Even though he never received a higher education. In addition, Mbah Munshorif is famous for his various miracles, one of which is folding the earth. Mbah Munshorif has a concept of tasaswuf or wuṣūl which has a tendency to tawakal. Mbah Munshorif said that wuṣūl is solely a gift from Allah. If a person is wuṣūl to Allah, Allah will cover all his shortcomings and defects with His majesty, greatness, glory, and versatility. Thus, the person is overwhelmed by His noble attributes and His supreme will until his ego and all his desires are gone. Keywords: Mbah Munshorif, Tawakal, Wuṣūl. Abstrak Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi keganjilan Mbah Munshorif dan bukunya. Di mana Mbah Munshorif bukanlah orang terpelajar namun memliki buku yang lauar biasa yang berisikan pelajaran tasawuf yang salah satu isinya menjelaskan mengenai wuṣūl kepada Allah. Untuk mengetahui sosok Mbah Munshorif dan konsep wuṣūl-nya kepada Allah, penulis kemudian melakukan penelitian dengan judul “Tasawuf Nusantara: Konsep Wuṣūl Perspektif Mbah Munshorif dalam kitab Al-Bidayat Majallatun Nihayat” dengan metode penelitian kualitatif yang menggunakan wawancara dan analisis dokemen karya Mbah Munshorif. Dari penenlitian yang telah dilakukan dapat diketahui bahwa Mbah Munshorif merupakan tokoh masyarakat yang mempunyai keunikan memmiliki banyak murid dari berbagai daerah yang sebagainnya adalah orang-orang terpelajar dan terdidik, bahakan pengasuh pesantren dan dosen. Padahal beliau tidak pernah mengenyam pendidikan yang tinggi. Selain itu, Mbah Munshorif terkenal dengan berbagai karamah-nya yang salah satunya adalah melipat bumi. Mbah Munshorif mempunyai konsep tasawuf atau wuṣūl yang mempunyai kecenderungan pada tawakal. Mbah Munshorif mengatakan bahwa wuṣūl merupakan semata-mata anugerah Allah. Baranag siapa yang dikehendaki Allah wuṣūl kepada-Nya, maka Allah akan menutupi segala kekurangan dan kecacatannya dengan keagungan, kebesaran, kemuliaan, dan kesempunaan-Nya. Sehingga orang tersebut diliputi segala sifat-Nya yang mulia dan kehendaknya yang paling kuasa hinga sirnalah egonya dan segala kehendaknya adalah kehendak Allah serta pilihannya adalah pilihan Allah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi keberagaman agama manusia yang menjadi fenomena yang niscaya yang sering kali mendatangkan tantangan berupa konflik dan perpecahan antar umat beragama. Untuk menghindari perpecahan dibutuhkan gagasan mengenai titik temu agama-agama yang dalam hal ini sering disebut Wahdah Al-Adyan. Wahdah Al-Adyan adalah konsep mengenai persatuan agama yang dalam filsafat dibahas dalam filsafat perennial dan dalam ilmu keislaman dibahas dalam tasawuf. Melalui kacamata tasawuf dan filsafat, penulis berusaha menguraikan konsep Wahdah Al-Adyan yang kemudian penulis membuat penelitian dengan judul “Wahdah Al-Adyan Perspektif Filsafat Perenial dan Tasawuf” yang membahas pengertian filsafat perenial dan tasawuf, pengertian Wahdah Al-Wujud, dan konsep Wahdah Al-Wujud perspektif filsafat perenial dan tasawuf. Hasil dari penelitian ditemukan bahwa filsafat perenial dan tasawuf sepakat bahwa kesatuan agama atau titik temu agama terletak pada sisi esoterik agama yang sama-sama bertujuan menuju, menyembah, dan mengabdi kepada Tuhan. Perbedaan dalam agama hanya terletak pada kulit luar atau sisi eksoterik agama. Wahdah Al-Adyan bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sikap toleran, saling menghargai, dan saling menghormati antar pemeluk agama. Bukan bertujuan menyatukan agama atau membenarkan semua agama yang ada tanpa pandang bulu. Wahdah Al-Adyan memandang sebuah agama benar adalah agama yang sesuai dengan perintah penciptaan dan perintah kewajiban yang merupakan wahyu dari Tuhan yang disampaikan oleh para Nabi yang menjamin keselamatan dan kebahagiaan para pemeluknya.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the author's interest in Sego Langgi, which is the favorite iftar menu of Sunan Sendang during fasting. The author feels that the selection of Sego Langgi as the breaking fast menu must have reasons, meanings, and philosophy. To understand the Sufistic meaning contained in Sego Langgi, the author conducted research titled "The Sufistic Meaning of Sego Langgi in the Haul Process of Mbah Raden Nur Rachmat Sunan Sendang" using qualitative research methods. The data sources in the research were obtained through interviews and documentation or the utilization of existing documents. This research produces a novelty in the realm of Nusantara Sufism scholarship in the form of the Sufi meaning contained in Sego Langgi. Sego Langgi is the favorite iftar menu of Sunan Sendang, rich in values of simplicity and asceticism. Sego Langgi has a Sufi meaning of controlling desires. In Sufism, fasting, which includes breaking the fast and pre-dawn meals, by abstaining from living things, is effective in subduing, controlling, and managing desires.

Abstract

The Javanese Muslim community today remains closely connected to the legacy of tirakat traditions that have been passed down for centuries as a result of the process of spreading Islam in Java. Tirakat is a traditional phenomenon intertwined with spirituality and religious values, which often gives rise to debates regarding the legality of its practice. This is what has inspired the author to explore and examine how Islamic jurisprudence (fiqh) and Sufism (tasawwuf) view the tirakat tradition that continues to live and thrive in Javanese society. This study employs a literature review method, using library sources as its primary data. The research produces a novelty in the form of Sufi and juridical perspectives on the Javanese tirakat tradition. Tirakat is an act of ascetic discipline closely related to spirituality — an effort to restrain one’s desires by fasting or by secluding oneself in quiet and solitary places such as mountains or caves. The Javanese people recognize many diverse forms of tirakat, which can generally be grouped into three types: tirakat puasa (ascetic fasting), tirakat tapa (meditative seclusion or austerity), and tirakat melek (wakeful vigil or staying awake). In Javanese tradition, tirakat may be practiced as long as it does not contradict Islamic law, does not cause self-harm, and does not lead one to abandon more important obligations.
