Abstract

Daily activities at PT Dayamitra Telekomunikasi Tbk Regional Sumbagsel involve a lot of interaction with guests. This includes visits from interested parties who come to discuss the project, customer service, or tenant land issues. To manage guest visits more effectively, an organized system is needed. Without a structured system, the process of recording visitor data is carried out manually which can cause inefficiencies, errors in recording data, and difficulties in tracking and accessing visitor information. This research uses the design thought method because its approach focuses on the user (user-centered). To overcome this problem, this report designs a web-based Visitor System Application (VISA). This application is expected to replace manual methods in recording guest data, increasing efficiency, speed and accuracy in data management. The design of the Visitor System Application (VISA) application uses the Design Thinking method with use case diagrams and activity diagrams as a model for creating system prototypes. By implementing this application, it is hoped that PT Dayamitra Telekomunikasi Tbk Regional Sumbagsel can increase productivity and provide convenience in carrying out its work activities, especially in terms of collecting and reporting guest data.

Abstract

This research on the UI/UX Design of the Inventory Information System uses the Design Thinking method. The goal is to understand the needs of users, namely admins and employees, produce intuitive solutions by creating an easy-to-use interface, increase user satisfaction and comfort, and minimize the risk of errors in design by utilizing the Figma tool. The use of tools is expected to provide convenience in the layout of the interface and user experience (UI/UX) that is in accordance with user expectations. The conclusion of this study is a computerized Web-Based Office Inventory Information System application to assist users in the process of creating available Office Inventories and incoming/outgoing goods, searching and monitoring and creating reports on goods data in PT Dayamitra Telekomunikasi.

Abstract

The South Sumatra Provincial Communication and Informatics Office continues to experience challenges in its leave application process, which is considered inefficient. This process relies heavily on manual data processing, particularly in the personnel department, using physical documents and lacking the support of a centralized database. This often leads to errors in recording employee leave data. This study applies the Design Thinking method to improve the User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) through five stages: Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Test. The purpose of designing the UI/UX for this leave application website is to minimize obstacles, reduce administrative errors, increase the efficiency of leave management by the agency, and facilitate more structured and effective documentation of employee leave data. Based on the results of testing conducted by distributing a System Usability Scale (SUS) questionnaire to five respondents, an average SUS score of 73 was obtained, which falls within the Acceptable category within the acceptance range. These results indicate that users responded positively to the application's ease of use

Abstract

Efficiency and accuracy in the mandatory reporting process for correctional clients present significant challenges for BAPAS Class I Palembang. This study aims to design a mobile-based mandatory reporting information system that supports the activities of both clients and Correctional Officers (PK). The previously manual reporting process caused several issues, including low client discipline, difficulties for PK in monitoring client progress, and risks of data loss or inaccuracy. The method applied is User Centered Design (UCD), which includes stages of understanding the context of use, specifying user requirements, designing solutions using Figma, and evaluating the design with the System Usability Scale (SUS) method. Data were collected through observation, stakeholder interviews, and usability testing by respondents. The results indicate that the designed application meets user needs and is easy to use, with an average SUS score of 82, falling into the Excellent category.

Abstract

This study aims to design an information system for adult clients at the Class I Correctional Center (Bapas) Palembang using the Prototyping method. The background of this research lies in the limitations of the existing Correctional Database System (SDP) which has not fully supported the operational needs of the Adult Client Guidance Section (BKD), especially in managing attendance records, Litmas archiving, and preparing periodic reports. Data were collected through observation and interviews with BKD officers, then analyzed to identify system requirements. The Prototyping method was applied through iterative stages, starting from communication, quick planning, design modeling, construction, and user feedback. The results of the design produced a prototype consisting of eight main interfaces, including client data management, attendance schedules, Litmas archives, and monthly reports. This prototype provides added value in terms of efficiency, accuracy, and ease of use for BKD officers, even though it is still limited to the design stage and has not yet been integrated with SDP. The findings of this research are expected to serve as a basis for the development of a more comprehensive system in the future.
