<![CDATA[This research aims to examine the contextualization of religious doctrine on the role of women in politics. The main focus includes the influence of religious doctrine on women's involvement, the challenges that arise due to the interpretation of these doctrines, and the implementation of affirmative action to reduce discrimination. The findings show that religious doctrine has a significant influence, both in supporting and limiting women's roles, depending on the interpretation. Challenges in the form of gender stereotypes and structural barriers are often reinforced by conservative religious views. However, affirmative action policies have proven effective in increasing women's representation. Therefore, a progressive reinterpretation of religious doctrine is needed to support gender equality in the world of politics. Jurnal ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji kontekstualisasi doktrin agama terhadap peran perempuan di dunia politik. Fokus utama mencakup pengaruh doktrin agama terhadap keterlibatan perempuan, tantangan yang muncul akibat interpretasi doktrin tersebut, serta penerapan affirmative action untuk mengurangi diskriminasi. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa doktrin agama memiliki pengaruh signifikan, baik dalam mendukung maupun membatasi peran perempuan, tergantung pada interpretasinya. Tantangan berupa stereotip gender dan hambatan struktural sering kali diperkuat oleh pandangan agama yang konservatif. Namun, kebijakan affirmative action terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan representasi perempuan. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan reinterpretasi doktrin agama yang progresif untuk mendukung kesetaraan gender di dunia politik.]]>
