<![CDATA[Salah satu persoalan yang tidak kalah penting untuk mendapat perhatian dari berbagai kalangan yang fokus kepada isu-isu ketatanegaraan, ialah pembahasan mengenai Penggantian Antar Waktu (PAW) anggota DPR yang salah satu sebabnya dapat berangkat dari usulan pimpinan partai politik. Hal tersebut menjadi persoalan, mengingat legitimasi anggota parlemen sejatinya diperoleh dari kepercayaan rakyat, sedangkan fenomena kewenangan pimpinan parpol tersebut seolah mencederai kepercayaan masyarakat yang ditandai dengan beberapa kontroversinya di Indonesia. Untuk itu pembahasan ini bertujuan untuk dapat mengulas polemik tersebut melalui perspektif sosiologi politik untuk kemudian dapat memberikan pemahaman yang lebih komprehensif. Atas dasar hal tersebut, maka metode yang akan digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah deskriptif kualitatif dengan disertai dengan studi Pustaka guna dapat memberikan pembahasan yang menyeluruh terhadap persoalan yang ada. Adapun hasil dan pembahasan yang ditemukan terhadap penelitian kali ini, ternyata dalam tinjauan perspektif sosiologi politik, khususnya jika dibenturkan dengan teori representasi dan legitimasi maka akan ditemukan beberapa persoalan pada sisi pemilik legitimasi dalam menentukan siapa yang dapat mewakilinya. One issue that is no less important to receive attention from various groups that focus on constitutional issues is the discussion regarding the Interim Replacement (PAW) of DPR members, one of the reasons for which can be based on the proposals of political party leaders. This is a problem, considering that the legitimacy of members of parliament is actually derived from the people's trust, while the phenomenon of the authority of political party leaders seems to be hurting people's trust, which is marked by several controversies in Indonesia. For this reason, this discussion aims to review the polemic from a political sociology perspective to then provide a more comprehensive understanding. Based on this, the method that will be used in this research is descriptive qualitative accompanied by a literature study in order to provide a comprehensive discussion of the existing problems. As for the results and discussion found in this research, it turns out that in reviewing the political sociology perspective, especially if it is collided with the theory of representation and legitimacy, several problems will be found on the side of the issue of the owner of legitimacy in determining who can represent him.]]>
