<![CDATA[ABSTRAK Artikel ini secara komprehensif membahas pentingnya penerapan asas-asas umum dalam membangun pemerintahan yang efektif dan responsif. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali bagaimana asas-asas pemerintahan yang baik diterapkan, serta dampaknya terhadap hubungan antara pemerintah dan masyarakat. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa penerapan asas-asas umum, seperti asas keterbukaan, keadilan, akuntabilitas, dan kepastian hukum, berperan krusial dalam meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan publik. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa penerapan asas-asas umum mampu memperkuat kepercayaan masyarakat terhadap pemerintah. Kepercayaan ini tumbuh dari kualitas pelayanan yang semakin baik, keterbukaan dalam proses pengambilan keputusan, serta keberpihakan kebijakan terhadap kebutuhan masyarakat. Dengan meningkatnya kepercayaan masyarakat, partisipasi publik dalam berbagai aspek pemerintahan turut terdorong, menciptakan sinergi yang positif antara pemerintah dan masyarakat. Dengan demikian, diharapkan tercipta pemerintahan yang tidak hanya efektif dalam menjalankan fungsinya, tetapi juga responsif terhadap dinamika sosial, demi tercapainya kesejahteraan masyarakat secara berkelanjutan. ABSTRACT This article comprehensively discusses the importance of the application of general principles in building an effective and responsive government. Through a descriptive qualitative approach, this research aims to explore how the principles of good governance are applied, as well as their impact on the relationship between government and society. The research found that the application of general principles, such as the principles of openness, fairness, accountability, and legal certainty, plays a crucial role in improving the quality of public services. The results also show that the application of general principles can strengthen public trust in the government. This trust grows from the better quality of services, openness in the decision-making process, and the alignment of policies to the needs of the community. With increased public trust, public participation in various aspects of government is also encouraged, creating a positive synergy between government and society. Thus, it is expected to create a government that is not only effective in carrying out its functions, but also responsive to social dynamics, in order to achieve sustainable community welfare.]]>
