Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of students' learning independence on understanding mathematical concepts at SMK Bhakti Insani Bogor. The method used in this study is the survey method. The sampling technique uses the Simple Random Sampling Technique. The instruments for data collection in this study were a questionnaire on students' learning independence consisting of 21 statements and essay questions on understanding mathematical concepts on the Three Variable Linear Equation System (SPLTV) material consisting of 5 questions. The sample was 70 students of SMK Bhakti Insani Bogor class X who were selected randomly. The regression equation obtained was ???? = (?93.15) + 2.25 ????. From the results of hypothesis testing, it was obtained that tcount> ttable or 32.66> 2.009, so H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted. It can be concluded that there is a significant effect of learning independence on understanding mathematical concepts. And the correlation coefficient between learning independence (X) and understanding mathematical concepts (Y) is 0.97. Based on the calculation results, the determination coefficient value is 94%, this means that the contribution of learning independence to the understanding of mathematical concepts is 94%, while 6% of the high understanding of mathematical concepts is influenced by other factors. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kemandirian belajar peserta didik terhadap pemahaman konsep matematika di SMK Bhakti Insani Bogor. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survey. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan Teknik Simple Random Sampling. Instrumen untuk pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini berupa angket kemandirian belajar siswa sebanyak 21 butir pernyataan dan tes soal essay pemahaman konsep matematika materi Sistem Persamaan Linear Tiga Variabel (SPLTV) sebanyak 5 soal. Sampelnya adalah peserta didik SMK Bhakti Insani Bogor kelas X sebanyak 70 siswa yang dopilih secara acak. Persamaan regresi yang didapat sebesar ???? = (?93,15) + 2,25 ????. Dari hasil pengujian hipotesis diperoleh diperoleh thitung > ttabel atau 32,66 > 2,009 maka H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan kemandirian belajar terhadap pemahaman konsep matematika. Dan koefisien korelasi antara kemandirian belajar (X) terhadap pemahaman konsep matematika (Y) sebesar 0,97. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan diperoleh nilai koefisien determinasi sebesar 94%, hal ini berarti bahwa kontribusi kemandirian belajar terhadap pemahaman konsep matematika sebesar 94%, sedangkan 6% tingginya pemahaman konsep matematika dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain.
