Abstract

This research is intended to describe some use of Betawi Language for it is native, it is speaker or those who have lived in South Jakarta for more than ten years through sociodialectology. This research scoops two goals which are (1) to describe the use of Betawi language phonologically and lexically (2) to determine similarities and differences of Betawi Language in South Jakarta.Method used in this research is descriptive comparative method. This method is suitable to compare language rolesimilarities, dialect similarities, and dialect differences in Srengseng Sawah and Ciganjur as subdistricts of Jagakarsa, Pejaten Barat as subdistricts of Pasar Minggu, Lebak Bulus and South Gandaria as subdistricts of Cilandak through phonology and lexical level.Betawi Language contents many similarities and differences. Both cover either wholly or partially. This goes for a shortcut that each area has it is lexical and referent. Beyond that, there are two areas having differences amongst others. Yet, by statistic calculation using dialectometry, we conclude that differences occur in subdialect level.

Abstract

This study aims to describe religious values in the novel Nafsul Muthmainnah by Anfika Noer. The religious values analyzed include regulatory aspects (sharia), beliefs (creeds), and actions (morals). The approach used, namely the qualitative approach and the method used in this study is a descriptive analysis method. The use of this method is adjusted to the main purpose of the research, which is to describe and analyze religious values in a novel entitled Nafsul Muthmainnah by Anfika Noer. Descriptive method is a method used to describe or analyze a research result but not used to make broader conclusions. The purpose of this descriptive study is to make a description, description, or painting systematically, factually and accurately about the facts, traits, and relationships between phenomena investigated. The content analysis method is able to uncover the tendency of message content based on the context of the content of a text. The depth of content analysis will be more complete and detailed in understanding the contents of the text and able to associate with the context of reality that occurs. In this study, data information analysis was carried out through the stages of identifying all data, describing data, analyzing data, then interpreting existing data based on religious values in the novel. Conclusions from this study, namely that there are many religious values related to regulations (shari'a), beliefs (creeds), and actions (morals) in the Nafsul Muthmainnah novel by Anfika Noer's work. The religious values contained in this novel, namely aspects of sharia as many as 13 data findings, aspects of faith as many as 21 data findings, and moral aspects as many as 42 data findings. The most finding data is the moral aspect as many as 42 data findings and the least is the sharia aspect of 13 data findings.

Abstract

Abstract: This research is to describe the use of Betawi language used by native speakers or natives or at least have lived for ten years in East Jakarta with sociodialectological studies which include descriptions of the use of Betawi in phonology and lexical fields as well as descriptions of similarities and differences in Betawi in East Jakarta. The research method used is a comparative descriptive method. Data collection is done using the method of field mixing, which is a method of collecting data directly or verbally. In addition, the method used is the synergy method. Research techniques used, namely note taking and fishing techniques. The conclusion of this research is the existence of several similarities and differences, both in the fields of phonology, morphology, lexicon, or syntax. From the 806 words we obtained from speakers in each region, researchers found 235 differences in the same lexicon and 571 lexicon in the four study areas. The conclusion of this research is at the level of phonology, morphology, lexicon, and syntax there is considered no difference. Keywords: Language, Betawi, East Jakarta.

Abstract

Abstract: The habit of reading the newspaper by itself will be able to familiarize readers morefamiliar with the language of the newspaper. However, in fact in terms of the users of the languagein the newspaper classified as inadequate. The public seemed never ceased to demand thenewspaper to use the language normative and standard in the presentation of news. The purpose ofthis study is to know the writing of non-standard words in the title of the Pos Kota newspaper.Furthermore, it is expected to that many readers would know about non-standard words. Theresearch method used to analyze the writing of non-standard words in the Pos Kota newspaper titleis a descriptive method. From a total of 25 words divided, Basic, Affix and Combined Words getthe same amount of 5 words. Beheading Words gets 3 words. Re-form, Prepositions s,Abbreviations and Acronyms Words get 2 words. Numbers get 1 word. Meanwhile, Particles,,Pronouns, and Article Words get 0 words. There are still a lot of non-standard vocabulary writtenin newspapers that can cause readers to be more familiar with non-standard vocabulary thanstandard vocabulary later. In the end, it will cause many errors in the use of standard vocabularyby readers.Key Words: word writing, non-standard words, Pos Kota newspaper.
