Abstract

Learning media can facilita learning communication between teachers and students, provide valuable learning experiences to students, and increase students' interest in comparing theory and practice. The use of digital media can help make social science content more interesting and easy to understand. Education in the digital era is education where information and communication technology must be included in all subjects, especially in social studies in elementary schools. This research methodology uses System Literature Review (SLR). To Collected articles are only published various articles, the researcher selected From that article keywords used. The articles that were gathered were only published between 2018 and 2023. From the various articles, researchers selected 12 articles that were very relevant to the employed keyword. The results of this research are that the role of digital-based learning media in improving social studies education in elementary schools has a very large impact and is very important for student participation in the learning process. The use of media that is adapted to student characteristics makes the teaching and learning process more interesting and motivates students to love the knowledge they are learning. Another benefit is that using digital learning media makes learning more interesting and stimulates students' curiosity.
