Abstract

Papua Barat memiliki kekayaan alam yang melimpah, yang dapat menjadi sumber daya utama dalam pengembangan usaha masyarakat lokal. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi potensi usaha di Papua Barat berdasarkan karakteristik wilayahnya melalui kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan partisipatif dan analisis berbasis wilayah, pengabdian ini memfokuskan pada sektor-sektor utama seperti perikanan, pertanian, pariwisata, dan kehutanan. Hasil dari pengabdian ini menunjukkan bahwa sektor perikanan dan pariwisata memiliki potensi yang sangat besar untuk dikembangkan, namun perlu didukung dengan peningkatan kapasitas masyarakat dan pemanfaatan teknologi yang lebih efisien.

Abstract

Keindahan hutan Papua membuat siapa pun yang melihatnya terkesima. Selain keindahan keanekaragaman hayati, hutan Papua juga mempunyai peran yang sangat penting dalam mencegah perubahan iklim. Sayangnya, saat ini mereka berada dalam ancaman serius. Organisasi Non-Pemerintah (NGO) dan Organisai / Kelembagaan Adat Pemuda dan Perempuan memiliki peran penting dalam pembangunan sosial, budaya, dan ekonomi masyarakat. bertujuan untuk memperkuat kapasitas lembaga-lembaga tersebut, memperbaiki tata kelola, serta memperkuat kolaborasi antara NGO dan Orgnisasi / Kelembagaan Adat, Pemuda dan Perempuan dalam mendukung kerja-kerja advokasi, pemberdayaan. Pelatihan ini menggunakan metode partisipatif, yang mencakup: presentasi dan ceramah oleh fasilitator ahli., diskusi kelompok., simulasi dan studi kasus., sesi tanya jawab dan latihan praktis dan role play. Abstract

The Samber Binyeri Maju Cooperative in Biak Numfor Regency, Papua, is a cooperative engaged in the fisheries sector with the aim of improving the welfare of members through sustainable management of fishery resources. This study discusses the problems faced by cooperatives, the goals and methodology of the mentoring program carried out by the Modern Cooperative Assistance Team (TPKM), as well as the results of the implementation of the program. Through SWOT analysis and Business Model Canvas, this cooperative shows great potential to grow with the right support. The results of the assessment showed significant improvements in various aspects, including institutional, business, market, finance, and digitalization. This research also provides recommendations for the development of cooperatives in the future.

Abstract

Compensation is one of the factors that can enhance work productivity in a company. This is also applicable to the financial company PT. Bussan Auto Finance (BAF) Jayapura. This study aims to evaluate how the reward system provided to employees affects their productivity levels in carrying out duties and responsibilities within the company. Additionally, it seeks to understand the extent of the influence of compensation on employee productivity levels. The method used is a quantitative approach by applying Regression Analysis to test the relationship partially. The results indicated that compensation has a partial positive impact on the productivity of PT. BAF employees. This is evidenced by a t-value of 3.511 with a significance level of 0.001, demonstrating that an increase of one unit in compensation will enhance productivity by 35.11%. Furthermore, incentives also have a partial positive effect on the productivity of PT. BAF employees. The regression analysis results showed a t-value of 2.521 with a significance level of 0.014, indicating that an increase of one unit in incentives will boost productivity by 25.21%. Therefore, it is crucial to maintain and improve the incentive system. The combined effect of compensation and incentives on productivity also showed positive results. The regression analysis demonstrated that both factors significantly contribute to productivity, with the regression equation: Y = 1.239 + 0.786(X1) + 0.308(X2).

Abstract

Abstract

The study conducted at the Heram District Office in Jayapura City, Papua, examines the correlation between work discipline and the performance of civil servants (PNS). Work discipline encompasses various elements such as punctuality, adherence to protocols, accountability for assigned tasks, and dedication to organizational objectives. A strong work discipline typically leads to enhanced employee performance as disciplined individuals tend to be more efficient, productive, and dedicated to their responsibilities. They are also more likely to accomplish tasks effectively and within set deadlines. Conversely, a lack of work discipline can impede employee performance due to negligence, errors, and a lack of focus on duties. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between work discipline and the performance of civil servants in Heram District. This study uses quantitative analysis methods using simple regression analysis. The results showed a t test on work discipline (X) of 2.098 with a significance level of 0.016. The statistical value of the calculated test is greater than ttable (2.098>2.042) with significantly smaller than α = 0.05 (0.016
