Abstract

Artikel ilmiah pengabdian yang berjudul “Optimalisasi Potensi Guna Mewujudkan Desa Berkelanjutan dan Berdaya Saing Melalui Hak Selarasi dalam Bingkai Pendidikan, Kesehatan, Perekonomian, Pengelolaan Lingkungan dan Keagamaan. Melalui kerja nyata perkuliahan (KKN) merupakan salah satu bentuk kontribusi mahasiswa mengatasi permasalahan yang ada di masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji peran KKN dalam meningkatkan kepedulian lingkungan dan memberikan edukasi kepada anak-anak di Desa Paluh Sibaji Kabupaten Deli Serdang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi. Mahasiswa KKN mengikuti kegiatan mengaji, memberikan konseling informasi tentang pengembangan karir, membuat jus penurun kolesterol, penanaman tanaman obat keluarga, memberikan edukasi tentang pentingnya menabung kepada anak sekolah, dan mengikuti kegiatan gotong royong. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa melalui KKN, di Desa Paluh Sibaji merupakan salah satu desa di Kabupaten Deli Serdang. Lokasinya berada dekat dengan pesisir pantai. Desa ini memiliki potensi sumber daya alam laut yang melimpah, sebagian besar hasil tangkapan laut mereka jual di Tempat Pendaratan Ikan Pantai Labu.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the learning difficulties experienced by fourth-grade students at SD 104221 Pancur Batu in understanding the concept of equivalent fractions. The research used a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The findings revealed that most students face difficulties in understanding equivalent fractions, primarily due to internal factors such as health issues, intelligence, interest, and low learning motivation. External factors, including limited family support, inadequate school facilities, and lack of varied teaching media, also contribute to the low level of comprehension. Based on the findings, collaborative efforts among teachers, parents, and the school are needed to create a more supportive and enjoyable learning environment, along with the use of innovative teaching methods and media.
