Abstract

Ginger processing in Tambang Village Pudak Ponorogo Regency is still low due to the accumulation of harvested ginger, which on average per house can produce 200 kg of raw ginger. ginger to increase the selling value by utilizing technology. To overcome this problem, the method used is to innovate slicing raw ginger into dry ginger by slicing and drying. This research aims to increase the efficiency of ginger processing through innovative ginger slicing machines. The results of the research show that the machine of ginger slicer is able to increase the efficiency of chopping time by 60 Kg/hour and can produce uniform ginger slices in accordance with market standards. This innovation has had a significant impact on increasing the income and welfare of the people of Tambang Village.

Abstract

The sorting of fibers carried out by home industry players is still traditional, which is still sorting manually by hand. Seeing this situation the author tries to make a tool that makes it easier for the work whose activities are to sort the fibers so that it can be finished quickly with satisfactory results. Work capacity will be prioritized in the work of this machine with the driving energy of the electric motor. The gripping tool or can be referred to as a substitute for the hand in holding the ijut, the chuck will be equipped with a threaded bolt that is useful as a lock so that the fibers cannot move at the time of selection or commonly referred to as sweeping. Based on the data that has been taken, this fiber sorting machine can sort 64 bunches weighing 50 grams and 30 cm in 5 minutes. Using this machine, work safety is guaranteed. In addition, the advantage of using this machine is that the power used is not too much.

Abstract

The challenge of waste management lies not only in the volume but also in the increasingly complex characteristics of the waste and the limited processing facilities. The Regency Government has carried out management efforts through the construction of the Mrican TPST, the operation of several 3R TPS sites, as well as educational campaigns such as the SAMTAKU (Your Waste, My Responsibility) program. However, there are several structural issues, including low community participation in waste sorting and the suboptimal use of location-based management guidelines. This study can provide information related to ongoing waste management and help every passerby and newcomer to the Mrican landfill area to understand and comprehend the proper procedures for effective and environmentally friendly waste management by placing flow cards at each point that can be read by people entering the area, The results indicate that the information is very helpful for the village government in explaining the management of waste in their surrounding area
