Abstract

Abstract Human behavior in consuming natural resources has an impact on environmental problems, including global warming and climate change. The location of this research is SD Negeri Pacar Keling V Surabaya. This research aims to identify energy saving behavior patterns of class V students at SDN Pacar Keling V Surabaya related to energy use in the school environment and at home. Descriptive qualitative research model using interview, observation and documentation data collection techniques. The research subject in the research was students from SD Negeri Pacar Keling V Surabaya, wich amounths to 32 students consisting of class V A. The results of this research were that students from class V at SD Negeri Pacar Keling V Surabaya had understood and practiced energy saving behavior at school. However, the biggest challenge is implementing these habits consistently at home.   Abstrak Perilaku manusia dalam konsumsi sumber daya alam berdampak terhadap permasalahan lingkungan, termasuk didalamnya adalah pemanasan global dan perubahan iklim. Lokasi penelitian ini adalah SD Negeri Pacar Keling V Surabaya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi pola perilaku hemat energi siswa kelas V SDN Pacar Keling V Surabaya terkait dengan penggunaan energi di lingkungan sekolah dan di rumah. Model penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Subject penelitian dalam penelitian siswa SD Negeri Pacar Keling V Surabaya, yang berjumlah 32 siswa terdiri dari kelas V A. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas V SD Negeri Pacar Keling V Surabaya telah memahami dan mempraktikkan perilaku hemat energi di sekolah. Namun, tantangan terbesar adalah menerapkan kebiasaan ini secara konsisten di rumah.
