The results of this study indicate that scientific thinking tools are a series of tools and methods used to achieve an objective and systematic understanding of a phenomenon. Scientific thinking requires a structure that can be tested, repeated, and measured, allowing scientists or researchers to reach reliable conclusions. Various types of scientific thinking tools include several important aspects that support each other in the process of reasoning and analysis. First, logic is a basic tool to ensure consistency in scientific reasoning. The use of deductive logic, which goes from the general to the specific, and inductive logic, which moves from the specific to the general, helps scientists draw conclusions based on coherent rules and avoid contradictions. For example, through deductive logic, a scientist can conclude certain phenomena based on basic principles that have been proven to be true.
