Abstract

Tumpuk Tangah Village is one of the villages located in Talawi District, Sawahlunto City, West Sumatra. In this village, there are still difficulties in attracting potential tourists who want to travel to Tumpuk Tengah Village, especially in Pintu Angin and Bonou Hamlets, this is the main problem. If the process is not effective, the Hamlet will have difficulty in finding the right Tourism Potential to be needed and developed. The lack of development and training programs can lead to a lack of skills and knowledge among the Community. This can affect them and their ability to deal with the changes that occur. Communities that are not motivated or not fully involved in tourism development can reduce the attractiveness of visiting tourists. One way is the KKN UNP student activity in Talawi Tumpuk Tangah Village, namely identifying Tourism which aims to optimize the village into a Tourist Destination, this program focuses on increasing further Development especially in Pintu Angin and Bonou Villages. we hope that this identification and assessment can be the basis for further development, attracting tourists, and providing economic benefits for the people of Pintu Angin and Bonou Hamlets

Abstract

Kegiatan Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) program Universitas Negeri Padang di Desa Matobe, Kecamatan Sipora Selatan, mahasiswa Universitas Negeri Padang berkesempatan untuk mempelajari dan turut melestarikan dua kesenian tradisional Mentawai, yaitu alat musik Lelegak dan Tari Siokko. Kegiatan ini berawal dari keinginan untuk mengenalkan kembali kesenian lokal kepada masyarakat, terutama generasi muda, agar tetap hidup di tengah perkembangan zaman. Prosesnya dilakukan dengan mengamati langsung pertunjukan seni, berdialog dengan pelaku budaya, serta berlatih bersama warga desa. Selain belajar, tim mahasiswa juga mendokumentasikan seluruh proses dan menyusunnya menjadi arsip budaya yang dapat digunakan masyarakat. Program ini diharapkan menjadi langkah kecil namun berarti dalam menjaga identitas budaya Matobe sekaligus mempererat hubungan antara perguruan tinggi dan masyarakat

Abstract

Background: Orthopedic surgery is a flagship service at Fatmawati Hospital that demands high complexity and requires accurate clinical documentation and diagnosis coding. Incomplete medical records and coding errors can lead to administrative and financial problems.Objective: This study aims to analyze the association between the completeness of medical record documentation and the accuracy of diagnosis coding in orthopedic inpatients.Methods: A quantitative cross-sectional study was conducted on 95 orthopedic inpatient medical records selected purposively. Data were collected using a documentation completeness checklist and a coding review form based on ICD-10 and ICD-9-CM. Analyses included chi-square tests, Pearson correlation, and logistic regression.Results: Of all medical records, 78.9% were complete and 70.5% had accurate diagnosis coding. Documentation completeness was significantly associated with coding accuracy (χ² = 44.647; p = 0.001). Logistic regression confirmed documentation completeness as a predictor of coding accuracy (p = 0.001; OR = 0.013), accounting for 56.7% of the variance. A strong correlation was also found between coders’ length of work experience and coding accuracy (r = 0.805; p < 0.001).Conclusion: Complete documentation improves diagnosis coding accuracy. Recommendations include the use of standardized checklists, routine coder training, SIMRS optimization, stronger coder–physician collaboration, and regular audits to enhance evidence-based service quality and claims validity.
