Abstract

Pertumbuhan Ekonomi adalah suatu proses dimana kondisi perekonomian terus berubah ke kondisi yang lebih baik dalam jangka waktu tertentu. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui sektor-sektor yang menjadi sektor Basis dan non basis, sektor Unggulan, dan sektor yang termasuk sektor Prima dan non Prima di Kota Palu. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis Location Quotient (LQ), Shift Share (SS) dan Tipology Klassen. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu berdasarkanmanalisis Location Quetient (LQ) bahwa terdapat 14 sektor yang termasuk sektor Basis di Kota. dan ada tiga sektor yang non basis Hasil perhitungan analisis Shift Share pada komponen Proportional Shift (SS) di Kota Palu.menunjukan bahwa ada beberapa sektor yang tergolong lambat pertumbuhan yaitu sektor Pengadaan Listrik dan Gas, Pengadaan Air, Pengelolaan Sampah, Limbah dan Daur Ulang Konstruksi, Konstruksi, Perdagangan Besar dan Eceran; Reparasi Mobil dan Sepeda Motor, dan lain lain. Hasil dari penelitian menggunakan analisis tipology klassen terdapat dua sektor yang tergolong dalam sektor maju yaitu yaitu sektor Pengadaan Listrik dan Gas, jasa kesehatan dan kegiatan sosial. Dari hasil uraian analisis LQ, shift share dan tipology klassen di dapat sektor lapangan usaha apabila dianalisis LQ sektor tersebut termasuk dalam sektor basis, dalam analisis SS, sektor terseebut termasuk kedalam sektor unggulan dan dalam analisis tipology klassen sektor tersebut termasuk kedalam sektor maju, kedua sektor tersebut yaitu Pengadaan listrik dan gas dan Jasa Kesehatan dalam kegiatan sosial

Abstract

Mooi Park is one of the tourist attractions that is developing in Saoka, Sorong City, Southwest Papua, and has great potential to improve the economy of the local community. This research aims to analyze the role of the Mooi Park tourist attraction in increasing the income of the surrounding community.The method used is a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. The research results show that the existence of Moooi Park has a positive impact on the economy of the community around the Mooi Park tourist attraction through various sectors, such as increasing business opportunities in the fields of tourism services and trade. Apart from that, the existence of this tourist attraction also creates new jobs that support improving the welfare of the surrounding community. With support from the government and tourism managers, Mooi Park has the potential to become a leading destination.

Abstract

Economic development aims to improve the quality of life in various aspects, yet economic growth in Sorong City has shown a declining trend in recent years. This study aims to examine the impact of the Human Development Index (HDI), poverty rate, and unemployment rate on economic growth in Sorong City, addressing the research gap as there have been few studies on this topic. A time series data set spanning 10 years (2010-2023) was analyzed using multiple linear regression with SPSS 12. The findings indicate that HDI has a negative effect on economic growth, the unemployment rate has a positive effect, while the poverty rate does not significantly influence economic growth in Sorong City. These findings have important implications for designing more effective policies to promote sustainable economic growth in the region.

Abstract

Poverty remains a multidimensional challenge influenced by economic growth, unemployment, and population growth dynamics. While numerous studies have examined the relationship between economic growth and poverty, research that integrates unemployment and population growth variables at the district level, particularly in Eastern Indonesia, remains limited. This study aims to analyze the impact of economic growth, unemployment, and population growth on poverty levels in Manokwari Regency from 2009 to 2023. Utilizing time-series secondary data from 2009 to 2023 and multiple linear regression analysis, the findings indicate that economic growth and unemployment significantly reduce poverty, whereas population growth increases poverty levels. Collectively, these three variables demonstrate a significant influence on poverty dynamics. This study underscores the importance of district-level policies that not only prioritize economic growth but also emphasize job creation and human capital development as sustainable strategies for poverty alleviation.
