Abstract

This research is based on the fact that the subject of Islamic religious education (PAI) in public schools has undergone a long and complex development along with the socio-political conditions that occur. Government policies on Islamic religious education applied in public schools are the purpose of this research. In this research, the literature review method was used to find out the chronology of the emergence of each government policy. The results show that the state continues to support PAI in schools. The Indonesian government has set a policy that Muslim students can study Islam in all public schools. The purpose of this policy is to improve the quality of education by teaching Islam in schools. The government is responding to the needs of Muslim students to develop their spiritual potential. As a result, the education system in Indonesia continues to undergo social, political and cultural changes over time.

Abstract

Qur'an is revealed in a different language style with the previous books. Everyone must have deep knowledge of rhetoric, especially semantics, to understand it. Qur'an uses rhetoric in many verses to explain some crucial issues related to education, such as teaching method which stated in Al-Ghashiyah. The objective of this research is to find out the kind of Istifham which contained in Al-Ghashiyah, the meaning of a query tool in Al-Ghashiyah, and the correlation between Al-Ghashiyah containing istifham with Islamic education. This research uses qualitative approach, with descriptive and inductive analysis method. The research result shows that there are three adawatul istifham in Al-Ghashiyah, they are: "هل" (in the first verse), "أ" (in the seventeenth paragraph), and "كيف" (in the seventeenth to the twentieth verse). The word “هل in this surah has various meanings such as admiration, adoration, exaggeration, and longing. On the other hand, the word " أ " means command, admiration, and warning, while the meaning of " كيف " is for exaltation. The use of هل at the first verse of Al-Ghashiyah shows the importance of screening and observation before the lesson. Therefore, the Adawatul istifham is repeated in seventeenth verse to twentieth verse in order to answer the question of the first verse which show that it is obligatory for all teachers to guide the learners, monitor and evaluate the learning material that will be learned.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of character education policy at MTs Salafiyah Simbang Kulon II Pekalongan using a SWOT approach (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats). The results indicate that the school has strengths in its commitment to character education and the integration of religious values in learning. However, weaknesses include a lack of teacher training and limited time allocation. Opportunities that can be leveraged include government policy support and the use of digital technology, while the main threats are the negative influence of social media and rapid social change. This study recommends strengthening teacher training, collaborating with the community, and technology-based innovation to enhance the effectiveness of character education.

Abstract

This community service program aims to improve understanding of Muslim-friendly tourism village management in Indonesia through socialization and education. Muslim-friendly tourism villages have great potential in the halal tourism industry but still face challenges, such as limited understanding of halal standards, lack of supporting facilities, and lack of digital-based marketing strategies. To overcome these problems, this program adopts socialization, education, and mentoring methods involving local stakeholders. Socialization is conducted through interactive discussions and seminars, while education includes technical training for tourism actors related to halal service management and digital marketing. The program evaluation showed a significant increase in community understanding of halal tourism, readiness for Muslim-friendly accommodation, and the number of businesses applying for halal certification. The program contributes to strengthening the capacity of tourism village managers to provide Sharia-based services and increase attractiveness for Muslim tourists. Continuous assistance is needed to ensure the sustainability of the implementation of the halal tourism concept in various tourism villages in Indonesia.

Abstract

Pesantren sebagai lembaga pendidikan Islam tradisional memiliki peran penting dalam mendidik generasi Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kebijakan terkait peran pesantren dalam menghadapi tantangan Revolusi Industri 4.0. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi literatur dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui dokumentasi dari berbagai sumber tertulis, antara lain buku, jurnal, dan artikel ilmiah. Analisis data dilakukan dengan reduksi dan penyajian data dalam bentuk uraian singkat dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pesantren perlu mengadaptasi kurikulum dengan memasukkan keterampilan abad ke-21, seperti teknologi informasi dan kewirausahaan, untuk meningkatkan daya saing lulusan. Selain itu, integrasi teknologi dalam proses pembelajaran dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan efektivitas belajar santri. Namun demikian, tantangan aksesibilitas teknologi dan kebutuhan untuk mempertahankan nilai-nilai luhur pesantren tetap menjadi perhatian utama. Kesimpulannya, pesantren harus berinovasi dan beradaptasi dengan perkembangan zaman tanpa kehilangan jati dirinya, sehingga dapat berkontribusi secara signifikan terhadap pendidikan yang inklusif dan berkualitas di Indonesia.

Abstract

Bullying merupakan masalah kompleks yang dapat mengganggu proses pendidikan di sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan kebijakan anti-bullying di MTs. NU Ma’arif Buaran dalam konteks Pendidikan Islam, serta mengeksplorasi implikasinya terhadap hubungan antar siswa, siswa dengan guru, dan masyarakat sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan wawancara mendalam dan observasi partisipatif sebagai metode pengumpulan data. Sumber data utama terdiri dari guru, siswa, dan kepala sekolah yang terlibat langsung dalam implementasi kebijakan anti-bullying. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kebijakan anti-bullying di MTs. NU Ma’arif Buaran telah berhasil mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai Islam, seperti menjaga martabat manusia (Al-Hujurat: 11) dan membangun persaudaraan tanpa memandang perbedaan (Al-Hujurat: 13). Program mentoring berbasis nilai-nilai Islam telah membantu siswa mengembangkan empati, meningkatkan solidaritas, serta mengurangi potensi konflik antar siswa. Hubungan antara siswa dan guru juga menjadi lebih harmonis, dengan guru berperan sebagai pembimbing moral dan emosional. Meskipun terdapat kendala, seperti kurangnya pemahaman beberapa orang tua, kebijakan ini telah menciptakan lingkungan sekolah yang lebih aman, nyaman, dan mendukung pembentukan karakter siswa. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi dalam mengembangkan kebijakan pendidikan yang berbasis nilai moral dan keagamaan serta menjadi model yang efektif untuk sekolah lain dalam mengatasi bullying.

Abstract

Nature-based tourism in Pekalongan has shown rapid growth as Muslim tourists’ awareness of the importance of environmental sustainability as part of Islamic values increases. This study aims to analyze the role of ecotheological awareness in shaping the preferences and behavior of Muslim tourists towards nature-based tourism destinations. Using a qualitative approach, this study explores the relationship between theological understandings of the concepts of caliphate, trust, and tawhid and destination selection patterns, as well as responsible tourism behavior, through a literature review and descriptive survey data from 120 respondents. The results show that Muslim tourists with high levels of ecotheological awareness tend to choose destinations that are sustainable, tranquil, and provide spiritual value. They also demonstrate ethical tourism behavior, such as refraining from damaging nature, bringing their trash bags, and participating in conservation programs. The correlation between ecotheological awareness and tourism preferences was significant, with an r-value of 0.512, while the correlation with tourism behavior reached an r-value of 0.643. This study concludes that ecotheological awareness plays a vital role in promoting more sustainable, value-based tourism. These findings provide a conceptual basis for developing a nature tourism model that is not only environmentally friendly but also spiritually nuanced, while encouraging tourism policies that integrate Islamic and ecological values.
