Abstract

This article examines the Mushaf Al-Qur'an Kaji Ngali Badongan Gunugkidul, Yogyakarta. This privately owned manuscript is kept by Nur Yahman, the manuscript's heir. Historically, the manuscript has two different sources regarding its first copyist. The research focuses on the analysis of the rasm in surah Yasin contained in the Kaji Ngali Badongan manuscript. The method used is content analysis with text analysis and philology with the approach of codicology and textology. The final result of this research shows that the manuscript of Kaji Ngali Badongan Al-Qur'an Mushaf uses simple geometric illumination located at the beginning and middle of the Mushaf. The rasm ilma'i is still applied in the rule of ḥadf al-alif, besides that the rasm used is rasm usmani and Imla'i. Corrupt or unavoidable writing errors include, corrected errors, repeated writing, and lack of verse composition

Abstract

Fide’ merupakan ritual pengobatan dengan membacakan ayat-ayat al-Qur’an oleh komunitas Madura di kampung Parit Walkijah, Kalimantan Barat. Fide’ dipercaya dapat dijadikan sebagai penebusan dosa melalui perantara ayam atau kambing dengan ketentuan-ketentuan tertentu. Dalam pelaksanaannya melibatkan salah satu surat dalam al-Qur’an yaitu al-Quraisy. Tulisan ini mengekplorasi bagaimana fungsi performatif surat al-Quraisy dalam pengobatan Fide’ dengan analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Sebagai bentuk penelitian lapangan berupa living qur’an maka tulisan ini mendasarkan observasi dan wawancara sebagai sumber utama dalam memperoleh data. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan teori resepsi Ahmad Rafiq yang menghasilkan kesimpulan bahwa surah al-Quraisy difungsikan oleh masyarakat madura di kampung parit Waklijah sebagai pengobatan dan penyelesaian masalah terkait problem-problem sosial, penyakit fisik dan nonfisik, bahkan permasalahan yang berada di luar nalar manusia dapat diselesaikan dengan Fide’.

Abstract

Several Salafi Islamic organizations that openly campaign for the caliphate have begun to penetrate the realm of social media. One of them is in the Muslimahnews.com media which is allegedly managed by the HTI organization. Some of the writings in it echo the caliphate and kaffah Islam based on verses from the Koran and Hadith. Many of the contributors use classical interpretations and several opinions of prominent figures to strengthen the arguments built by them in campaigning for the caliphate and kaffah Islam. This research is included in a qualitative study using library research data collection techniques. The collected data was classified and analyzed using Abdul Mustaqim's epistemological theory. As for the results of this research, firstly , differences in views regarding the meaning of the caliphate are influenced by three things, namely the sources used, methodology and the validity of the truth to measure understanding regarding the caliphate. Second, Muslimahnews.com contributors tend to use textual methods in interpreting and analogizing their understanding, so that this understanding is not contextual to today's times

Abstract

This article examines K.H. Muhammad Ihsan's Qur'an manuscript is located in Wonodoyo Hamlet, Gunungkidul Regency, Yogyakarta.   Mr. Jazari Zaeni keeps this privately owned manuscript as the heir of the manuscript. This research focuses on the characteristics of the mushaf. The approaches used are codicology and textology as an analysis tool. The codicological aspect includes the size and material of the manuscript, illumination, and the symbols in it. Meanwhile, textological studies refer to the use of rasm, qira'at, and punctuation. The results of this study found that the size of the mushaf is 32 x 21 cm with a thickness of 7 cm. The illumination in this manuscript is geometric type with square and triangle lines. In textology, this manuscript has distinctive characteristics, namely the writing of verses using mixed rasm, the qira'at of Imam 'Ashim narrated by Hafs, and punctuation marks that are still relatively simple and do not escape text correction. In addition, there is no colophon or information related to copying.
