Abstract

This research focuses on analyzing the case of Abdul Jihar, a candidate for village head in Labangka District, Sumbawa Regency, East Nusa Tenggara, who was suspected of violating the rules in the Village Head Election. One of the irregularities that occurred was the absence of an election committee and supervisory committee. The aim of this research is to understand the political process and the importance of legal compliance in that context. The results of this study highlight the urgency of community contributions in understanding this issue, including the challenges that exist in village head elections.

Abstract

The divorce of celebrity Ria Yunita (Ria Ricis) with Teuku Rushariandi has become a public spotlight and reflects the social and emotional dynamics in the lives of celebrity families. This study analyzes the factors that influence the decision to divorce, such as poor communication, differences in values, and external pressure from the entertainment world. Through a qualitative approach in the form of social media analysis, interviews, and related sources, this study focuses on the impact of divorce on Ria Ricis' personal and professional life, as well as the social stigmatization that often accompanies celebrities after divorce. This studi is expected to provide more insight into the influence of social pressure on marital relationships and the challenges faced by celebrities in overcoming household problems.

Abstract

Public companies frequently engage in related-party transactions, particularly business groups with ownership and control ties. However, if such transactions are not conducted transparently and fairly, they can lead to conflicts of interest. The objective of this study is to examine the legal provisions related to related-party transactions and conflicts of interest arising in the relationship between PT Pantai Indah Kapuk Dua Tbk (PANI) and PT Bangun Kosambi Sukses Tbk (CBDK), as well as efforts to prevent them. The research method used is normative legal research with a statutory approach and a case study approach. The results of the study indicate that transactions between PANI and CBDK constitute affiliated transactions subject to Financial Services Authority Regulation No. 42/POJK.04/2020. This regulation specifically governs information disclosure, the use of independent appraisers, and the approval of independent shareholders in the event of a conflict of interest. Corporate management, internal controls, the principle of fairness, and legal due diligence can all help prevent conflicts of interest. Therefore, compliance with regulations is crucial to ensuring that corporate transactions in the Indonesian capital market remain valid.
