Abstract

This study aims to determine the muzakki's factors to re-donate in LAZNAS IZI. In addition, this study also wants to know the effect of service quality factors and the institution's reputation on the intention to re-donate at LAZNAS IZI. This study uses multiple linear regression by testing the effect of the Independent variables (X) on the Dependent variable (Y). There are four independent variables, namely Service Quality (X1), Reputation (X2), Attitude (X3), and Trust (X4). The dependent variable used is Intention to Redonation (Y). Primary data were obtained from questionnaires distributed to 97 IZI Zakat Institution donors who had donated more than once. From this research, it can be seen that Service Quality partially influences the interest to donate Back to IZI Zakat Institution. While Reputation, Attitude, and Trust partially have no effect. However, simultaneously all variables affect the interest of donors to re-donate to LAZNAS IZI. This study can be used by LAZNAS IZI as a reference to maintain several variables that are factors that donors are willing to redonation. In addition, variables that do not have a direct effect need to be developed with other variables together to have an effect and increase the donor's intention to redonation. The addition of the number of respondents and LAZ studied can also enrich the results of subsequent studies

Abstract

Indonesia's level of social welfare as represented using the Human Development Index is always below the world average, and until now there has been no proper handling to make Indonesia's HDI score above the world's average HDI score. This study aims to see the effect of each point of Maqashid Syariah on the increase and decrease in Indonesia's HDI. The data used is secondary data from the world bank, Transparency International, and BPS. The data was taken over 10 years, starting from 2011 – 2020. The method used to see the effect was a multiple regression model, and carried out several classical assumption tests, such as tests for normality, serial correlation, variance inflation factors and heteroscedasticity. The results of this study are that at each point of Maqashid Syariah there is Zakat in faith (diin), Poverty Rate in Human Life (Nafs), Literacy rate in Intellect ('Aql), Mortality rate in Posterity (Nasl), and Employment in Wealth (Maal), that has an influence on HDI and Corruption Perception Index (diin), Life Expectancy (Nafs), Education Spending Rate (‘Aql), Birth Rate (Nasl), and GDP Per Capita has not influence on HDI (Maal).

Abstract

Digital technology is key to increasing donor intentions to contribute to Zakat, Infaq, and Sadaqah (ZIS). This study identified the factors influencing and dominating donors in making digital payments for ZIS. Combining UTAUT 2 and the initial trust model, this study analyzed data from an online survey involving 103 donors from various provinces in Indonesia. The study includes donors who have paid or intend to pay the ZIS digitally. The results of the analysis using the partial least squares structural equation model (PLS-SEM) indicated that performance expectancy had no significant effect on initial trust and behavioral intention. Likewise, facilitating conditions did not significantly affect initial trust. On the other hand, hedonic motivation positively and significantly affects initial trust and behavioral intention, while initial trust affects behavioral intention. This study suggests that zakat institutions must ensure that their systems offer user satisfaction, initial trust, and facilitating conditions, such as reliable networks and security.

Abstract

Climate change as a form of environmental degradation is an important issue that needs to be addressed to achieve the SDGs. The aim of this research is to analyze the influence of economic growth, energy consumption, income inequality on environmental degradation in Indonesia in the long term and short term and to analyze the suitability of the hypothesis Environmental Kuznets Curve (EKC) is theoretically proven and valid in Indonesia both in the long term and short term. Researchers focus on research in Indonesia because Indonesia is a developing country with significant economic growth, but often there is intensive exploitation of natural resources. The data used in this research is time series data year 1991-2020. In this research, Error Correction Model (ECM) is used to see the influence of independent variables on the dependent variable in the long term and short term, as well as to test hypotheses Environmental Kuznets Curve (EKC), the hypothesis which states there is a relationship between economic growth and environmental quality and depicts an inverted curve is tested using the program Eviews 12. The results of this research are that the economic growth variable has no effect on environmental degradation in Indonesia in the short term, but in the long term economic growth has a significant positive effect on environmental degradation. The energy consumption variable has a positive and significant influence on environmental degradation in Indonesia both in the short and long term. The income inequality variable has no effect on environmental degradation in Indonesia in both the short and long term, there is a negative effect but it is not significant. Environmental Kuznets Curve (EKC) in Indonesia is in accordance with the existing EKC hypothesis. The government needs to implement sustainable development policies and green technology to reduce the negative impact of economic growth and energy consumption on the environment.

Abstract

This paper aims to analyze donor satisfaction with the services of an Infaq Management Institution using the Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) and Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) methods. In this study, a survey of 100 donors was conducted to collect data regarding their expectations and experiences with the provided services. The IPA method was used to identify factors influencing donor satisfaction, while the CSI method was applied to measure the overall level of satisfaction. The analysis results indicate that several service elements need improvement, including transparency in the reporting of infaq fund usage and responsiveness to donor inquiries. The physical evidence dimension was excluded from the analysis because it did not meet the reliability test (Cronbach’s Alpha < 0.6). The validity test results show that all questionnaire items are valid (P-value < 0.05). The CSI score of 70.57% indicates that, in general, donors are satisfied with the services of the Infaq Management Institution (LMI). Based on the IPA analysis, there were no attributes in the main priority quadrant (Quadrant I), but four attributes should be maintained because of their high performance and high importance (Quadrant II), namely the implementation of the 3S principle (Smile, Greet, Serve), transparency in fund management, accuracy of fund allocation, and confidentiality of donor data. On the other hand, six attributes fall into the low-priority quadrant (Quadrant III), indicating potential improvements in reporting and communication aspects. These results provide strategic insights for LMI to maintain its service excellence and enhance areas that are still suboptimal to sustain and increase donor loyalty. This study provides recommendations for infaq management institutions to improve service quality to enhance donor satisfaction. Keywords: Donor Satisfaction, Infaq Management Institution, Importance Performance Analysis, Customer Satisfaction Index.

Abstract

The issue of poverty has become a part of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Islam believes poverty must be sought and given concrete solutions through philanthropic instruments such as zakat, infaq, and sadaqah (ZIS). However, ZIS management will be more optimal if implemented by the Amil Zakat Institution or Lembaga Amil Zakat(LAZ). Thus, this research aims to determine the role of ZIS on mustahik's income for realizing SDGs at the Indonesian zakat institution. The research uses a quantitative method with a comparative approach. The Wilcoxontest will test the data using a different test between mustahik's income before and after being given ZIS funds. In addition, this study also uses several SDGs' indicator metadata, measured through the mustahik's income. Respondents from this research study were mustahik of the ZIS funds provided by Lembaga Manajemen Infaq (LMI), a zakat institution, with a total of 355 respondents spread across the provinces of East Java, South Sumatra, Riau Islands, and South Kalimantan. The results show a difference in the income of LMI mustahik before and after being given ZIS funds. If viewed from the SDGs' indicator metadata perspective, the distribution and utilization of ZISbecome essential in realizing no poverty. The existence of LAZ has an essential role in supporting the SDGs, especially in the equitable distribution of income, and can be an instrument in alleviating poverty. However, suggestions for future research are the need for an approach other than income and also need to be measured using metadata other than the SDGs indicator no poverty.
