Abstract

Teaching aids are objects that are used to assist in the process of conveying information, demonstrations, learning tools, or demonstrations of a particular concept or concepts. In this article the author will explain one of the teaching aids, namely, the Calculation Board. A counting board or PAHIT is a teaching aid used to calculate repeated multiplication, division, addition and subtraction materials. Using this counting board can train children to think quickly and more easily understand the concepts of multiplication and division. At the concrete operational age (7-11 years), elementary school age children generally have difficulty understanding abstract mathematics. Therefore, learning media is needed that can provide solutions to increase students' interest in learning. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods through observation, interviews and documentation. This writing aims to develop calculating board learning media as a medium that can help students' understanding of starting calculations in mathematics subjects. Through this multiplication board media, it is hoped that class II students will be able to think actively in understanding the concepts of multiplication and division so that students can improve their mathematics learning outcomes.Key Word : arithmetic concept, counting board media, mathematics.

Abstract

Abstract : Dance is a form of regional culture that contains many cultural values ​​that are strong in social, cultural, philosophical and spiritual values. The cultural values ​​of each dance movement are able to describe the identity of a region. Students' personalities in character building through dance have the aim of being a form of existence in learning traditional dance at school in forming a learning process that is fun, creative, communicative and aesthetic (Ayu Retnoningsih, 2017). However, over time, traditional dance has faded with western culture, so the existence of character strengthening has had a decreasing impact. The development of the times coupled with technological developments seems to be eroding various local wisdom values, especially for the younger generation and children (Umi Mahmudah1 et al., n.d.). Therefore, the author wants to provide efforts to prevent the erosion of traditional culture and western culture by preserving dance movements and instilling character from elementary school age, especially at SDN 22 Ampenan. This research uses descriptive qualitative analysis. The research results were obtained through observation, interviews and documentation. With this dance training, it is hoped that it can preserve culture and also foster students' character of cooperation, tolerance, discipline, national spirit, love of the country, and responsibility. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model kooperatif Team Games Tournament berbantuan media konkret ubur-ubur terhadap hasil belajar IPAS kelas V di SD Negeri 28 Cakranegara. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode quasi eksperimen tipe pre-test dan post-test control group design. Subjek dalam penelitian ini yaitu peserta didik kelas V di SDN 28 Cakranegara dimana kelas V(A) sebagai kelas eksperimen dengan jumlah peserta didik 22 dan kelas V(B) sebagai kelas kontrol dengan jumlah peserta didik 21. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu tes, lembar observasi penilaian sikap dan unjuk kerja. Teknik analisis data diawali dengan uji normalitas dengan shapiro wilk dengan taraf signifikansi 5% (0,05) dan dilanjutkan dengan uji homogenitas dengan menggunakan uji levene test. Selanjutnya yaitu uji hipotesis dengan menggunakan uji independent sample t-test. Berdasarkan perhitungan pengujian hipotesis pada taraf signifikansi 2 tailed sebesar 0,00 < 0,05, maka hipotesis alternatif (Ha) diterima dan hipotetis (Ho) ditolak. Setelah mengetaui pengaruhnya, kemudian dilakukannya uji N-Gain untuk menentukan nilai peningkatan yang lebih baik kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol, hasilnya diperoleh nilai N-Gain 0.56 kelas eksperimen dan 0.45 kelas kontrol. Artinya penerapan kelas eksperimen dengan TGT berbantuan media konkret ubur-ubur sedikit lebih baik daripada kelas kontrol dengan penerapan TGT tanpa berbantuan media konkret ubur-ubur.
