Abstract

Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Sumber data utamanya adalah hasil wawancara dengan informan, serta data sekunder seperti jurnal penelitian, laporan pemerintah, publikasi akademik, basis data, dan sumber lainnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tahapan dalam pelaksanaan tradisi A’lammang meliputi pengambilan bambu, pengisian, pembakaran, membawa lemang yang pertama kali dibuat, dan mendorong. Sebagian besar warga masih teguh menjalankan tradisi dan upacara terkait, meskipun ada sebagian yang mulai meragukan relevansinya. Tradisi A’lammang melibatkan pengambilan bambu yang diisi dengan beras ketan, kemudian dibungkus dengan daun pisang dan dibakar hingga matang. Lemang pertama kemudian dibawa ke rumah pinati dan diarak ke Sungai Lantang sebagai sesaji. Rakit yang membawa lemang, songkolo, telur mentah, ayam bakar setengah matang, daun sirih, kapur, dan buah pinang kemudian didorong ke tengah sungai. Secara ekonomi, tradisi A’lammang meningkatkan ekonomi lokal dengan meningkatkan permintaan bahan makanan dan pariwisata. Secara sosiologis, tradisi ini mencerminkan nilai-nilai masyarakat dan perbedaan pandangan antara generasi tua dan muda mengenai adat dan agama. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan tentang asal-usul dan praktik tradisional A’lammang kepada masyarakat. This study uses a qualitative method. The main data sources are the results of interviews with informants, as well as secondary data such as research journals, government reports, academic publications, databases and other sources. The research results show that the stages in implementing the A’lammang tradition include taking bamboo, filling it, burning it, carrying the lemang that was first made, and pushing it. The majority of residents are still adamant about carrying out related traditions and ceremonies, although there are some who are starting to doubt their relevance. The conclusion of this research is that the A’lammang tradition involves taking bamboo which is filled with sticky rice, then wrapped in banana leaves and baked until cooked. The first lemang is then taken to the pinati's house and paraded to the Lantang River as an offering. The raft carrying lemang, songkolo, raw eggs, half cooked grilled chicken, betel leaves, lime and areca nuts was then pushed into the middle of the river. Economically, the A’lammang tradition improves the local economy by increasing demand for food and tourism. Sociologically, this tradition reflects societal values and differences in views between the older and younger generations regarding customs and religion. This research provides insight into the origins and traditional practices of A’lammang to the community.
