Abstract

After the Covid-19 pandemic at the beginning of 2020, transformations occurred in various fields, including health. The health sector is undergoing transformation, one of which is the birth of Minister of Health Regulation Number 24 of 2022 concerning Electronic Medical Records and Law Number 17 of 2023 concerning health. The research method used is descriptive research using qualitative and quantitative approaches. The research was conducted on 2-4 May 2024 at Hospital Electronic Medical Record activities only require 6 people; manual medical record activities consist of more than 18 activities, whereas for Electronic Medical Record activities only 8 activities are required; Time efficiency for manual medical record activities takes more than 86 hours with a fatigue factor of 8.6 hours, while for Electronic Medical Record activities it only takes 38 hours with a fatigue factor of 3.8 hours. The suggestion for optimize the transfer of manual medical record media to electronic medical records by upgrading existing Electronic Medical Records according to the needs of Hospital X and making a commitment with health workers and supporting staff to use Electronic Medical Records.

Abstract

The large number of medical record archives produced must be balanced with the retention process so that the ever-increasing medical record archives do not result in accumulation in the processing unit and do not disrupt the smooth working process. The aim of this research is to look at the implementation of the medical record document retention system at Prikasih Hospital so that problems can be identified and a follow-up plan prepared so that the medical record document retention system can be implemented well. The type of research used is descriptive research using qualitative methods with the aim of obtaining information regarding the description of the retention system process. For human resources, it was found that the level of education did not comply with the qualification standards set by Minister of Health Regulation No. 55 of 2013, Prikasih Hospital Jakarta already has standard operational procedures but does not yet have a Records Retention Schedule (JRA). The infrastructure is inadequate because Prikasih Hospital Jakarta does not yet have a special room for storing inactive medical records.

Abstract

Tempat tidur rumah sakit merupakan aset krusial dalam penyelenggaraan pelayanan kesehatan. Pengelolaan tempat tidur yang baik akan mencerminkan mutu pelayanan rumah sakit. Penelitian ini penting karena penggunaan efisien tempat tidur di rumah sakit dapat mempengaruhi kualitas pelayanan dan kepuasan pasien, serta berdampak pada pendapatan rumah sakit. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan mixed methods, yaitu data statistik (kuantitatif) dan wawancara mendalam (kualitatif). Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan didapatkan hasil yaitu nilai BOR, TOI dan BTO pada bulan Januari – Maret tahun 2022 belum memasuki nilai ideal menurut standar ideal menurut standar barber johnson karena adanya perbaikan sarana dan prasarana sehingga tempat tidur yang digunakan kurang optimal. Saran yang dapat diberikan yaitu rumah sakit melaksanakan evaluasi secara berkala dan menginformasikan sosialisasi perbaikan tempat tidur di seluruh unit pelayanan rumah sakit.
