Abstract

Background: This research stems from the need to enhance Islamic Education in Indonesia by integrating philosophy, promoting critical thinking, and strengthening students' religious identity in a rapidly changing global landscape. Purpose: This study analyzes the integration of philosophy into the development of the Islamic Education curriculum from an epistemological perspective and its application in the context of education in Indonesia. The research aims to identify how the integration of philosophy can enrich the Islamic Education curriculum, enhance students' critical and reflective thinking skills, and strengthen their Islamic identity amidst the challenges of globalization. Method: Using a qualitative research method with a case study approach, the study finds that philosophy has significant potential to deepen religious understanding and develop students' intellectual and spiritual maturity. Result: However, the implementation of philosophical integration into the Islamic Education curriculum faces several challenges, including the intellectual readiness of students, the need for professional training for educators, and the necessity of clear guidelines for its application. Conclusion: The study concludes that with appropriate support, the integration of philosophy can play a crucial role in shaping students who not only possess a strong religious understanding but also the ability to think critically and participate in global dialogue. Abstract

This study examines the dynamics of adaptation of the Bina Insan Pangkalan Bun Islamic Boarding School in the era of globalization which faces curriculum dualism between traditional memorization and digital literacy. The purpose of the study is to identify structural and curricular development trends, analyze the implications for the effectiveness of early childhood education, and formulate recommendations for the integration of traditional values and modern competencies. The qualitative method of case studies was used with interview, observation, and documentation techniques. Primary data was obtained from the head of the Islamic boarding school, caregivers, teachers, students, parents, and administrative staff; Secondary data includes pesantren literature and syllabus. The results show the formation of a hybrid learning ecosystem that combines the yellow book with the creation of digital da'wah content. In conclusion, the integration of a hybrid curriculum increases the relevance and quality of early childhood education in the era of globalization.

Abstract

This study examines the challenges, opportunities, and resource readiness in the digitalization of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) institutions at SMA Negeri 1 Bulik. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results show that the main challenges include limited infrastructure and the digital competency of teachers, while students' enthusiasm for technology presents significant opportunities. Human resources exhibit varying levels of readiness, requiring intensive training. Digitalization has not yet been optimally integrated into the curriculum but holds great potential to support interactive learning. This study contributes theoretically by emphasizing the role of students as actors in digital transformation and offers practical recommendations for improving education policies. The findings pave the way for further research to explore the broader and deeper impacts of digitalization.
