Abstract

The science of eschatology is a branch of theology concerned with the last days. In Islamic teachings, the science of eschatology is closely related to Muslims' belief in the Last Day. And for Muslims, faith must be consistent with evidence in the form of daily practice and reflect the science of eschatology or belief in the end times. The practice of science is very important because it brings many benefits and important developments to human life. In fact, there are many ways to practice or interpret the science of the end times and eschatology, one of which is to live soberly. So how can minimalist living be an eschatological practice that considers the last days and the afterlife? This article discusses the issue using qualitative research methods in the form of a literature review and literature survey. The results of this study show that minimalist living can be used as an application of the science of eschatology to remember the afterlife. Minimalist living is fundamentally similar to the life of the Qanaah and the Zhud, both of which focus on the afterlife and death. In addition, Islamic teachings have long advocated minimalist living, which is a simple life and not excessive in order to realise the world and multiply practices to improve the quality of life after death.

Abstract

Islam considers that health is part of Allah's greatest favor. Medically, fasting can cleanse toxins and substances that accumulate in the digestive tract, kidneys, and other organs of the body due to preservatives, dyes, artificial sweeteners, cancer-causing carcinogenic substances, cigarette smoke and others that accumulate over the years. Although our body's mechanisms have the ability to treat themselves, the body's capacity also has its limits. By fasting, the protection of the body's organs can be perfect. The purpose of this research is to inform Muslims that fasting is mandatory for us to carry it out. In the Qur'an, surah al-Baqarah 2:183. Allah SWT said, "O you who believe, it is obligatory to fast on you, it is obligatory to those before you, so that you may fear Allah". Fasting is one of the pillars of Islam that must be done by every Muslim who is mukalaf (who has reached puberty and has intellect) and who is not in hindrance (uzur). The type of research used is from various literature and the development of various references. The method used is analysis. The data of this study was obtained by collecting data related to the journal theme, then grouping, sorting, and deleting unnecessary data. Next is to present and conclude from various data collections. The results of this study are described systematically and concretely according to the order of focus that has been previously explained. The first step is to explain what fasting is. Abstract

Mahram is an important issue in Islam because it can influence behavior, halal and haram. Furthermore, mahram is a wise decision of Allah SWT and also the perfection of this religion which regulates every aspect of life. So, it is important for us to know who is included in the list of mahrams and what their rights are. Furthermore, Mahram also touched on the issue of inter-tribal marriages. The question is whether this can be considered contrary to the existence of Mahram. This issue is still debated by many religious experts and many different sectarian groups have emerged and punished each other by prohibiting inter-tribal marriages. In short, the author emphasizes that this problem is not included in the daruriyyat but only in the hajiyyat category. In other words we can say that inter-tribal marriages are permitted in Islam.
