Abstract

Abstract : Long jump is horizontal jump that require good running mechanisms as well as optimum speed at takeoff (departing). The purpose of this research is to know the Relationship of Explosive Muscle LimbWith Results Long Jump Squat Style Students Of Class IX Mts Negeri 1 Kampar Districts Kuok. From each class taken as many as 30% of boys with the total sample were 31 students of class IX MTs Negeri 1 Kampar Districts Kuok. Sampling in this study is a balanced sample (proportional random sampling) conducted to perfect the use of balanced area sampling technique. with the number of students. The result of correlation between explosive muscle limb power with the long jump result of squat style of student of class IX MTs Negeri 1 Kampar Kecamatan Kuok using product moment colleration formula. Testing criteria if rcount > rtable, then there is a relationship. From the calculation of correlation between explosive muscle limb power with long jump results obtained rcount 0.995 while rtable at significant level α = 0.05 is 0.355 with high category because it is on table interpretation value r at point 0,800 - 1,00.Keywords: Explosive, muscle limb, long jump, squat style.
