Abstract

Abstract This study examines the application of the Penta Helix Collaboration concept in an effort to improve achievement at MTs Negeri 2 Deli Serdang, which is a pilot project of the Kurikulum Merdeka in Deli Serdang Regency. The main focus of this research is to understand how collaboration between five elements—government, academia, business, society, and the media—can improve the quality of education and student achievement. Through a descriptive qualitative method, this study collected data through interviews and document analysis, which showed that this collaboration succeeded in improving educational facilities and infrastructure, as well as creating stronger support from the community and students' parents. The results of the study show that each element has a unique role that complements each other in achieving a common goal, despite being faced with challenges such as a lack of understanding and resources. The resulting recommendations emphasize the importance of consistency in collaboration and strengthening communication between elements to achieve continuous improvement in achievement. This research makes a significant contribution to the development of a collaboration-based education model in madrasah.

Abstract

The Two-Variable Linear Equation System (SPLDV) is one of the mathematics subject matter that requires a good understanding of the students. The Problems that occur when students are asked to solve problems in everyday situations involving SPLDV students feel this material is difficult to study. Students do not realize that the activity of the activities SPLDV generally been done by the students in their daily lives, but students do not have sufficient capacity to make and complete the mathematical model of the activities they do. To overcome the above problems needed an easier way, effective and close to the student habit is to Shopping Cart Games. With the Shopping Cart Games as activity in the class of VIII MTs Hamparan Perak, are increased in problem solving in everyday situations involving SPLDV. The increased activity of VIII D to solve problems in everyday situations involving SPLDV through Shopping Cart Games, known through observation of 3 (three) observer, who concluded that in the first cycle, the student activity only listen to the teacher's explanation and resolve the given problem students still has not been able to understand the concept of problems in everyday situations involving SPLDV primarily on the element A, the students themselves less able to communicate the results of his thinking, students are less active in reflective thinking, the value of the average student is still low at 53.47, the number of students who are not active> of in active, with 21 students who inactive and 15 students were active. In the second cycle, students are able to understand the concept of problems in everyday situations involving SPLDV primarily on the element A, the students have been able to communicate for themselves the results of thinking, students are already active in thinking reflective, students are able to increase the activity in handling problems in everyday situations related to SPLDV. In the second cycle the students have been able to interpret about the story, make a mathematical model more than one, completing in finished results, interpreting the finished results, check out the accuracy of finished result, ask questions and discuss.

Abstract

This study discusses the successful implementation of Pentha Helix Collaboration in improving the achievement of madrasahs at MTs Negeri 2 Deli Serdang in an effort to solve the problems of educational facilities and infrastructure. Involving five main elements—government, business, academics, community, and media—this collaboration was designed in a planned and systematic manner to answer the urgent needs of madrasahs in improving the quality of educational services. This research is included in qualitative descriptive research. Data collection techniques in this study used observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis used was data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions/verification.The results of the implementation show that the synergy between the elements of Pentha Helix is able to accelerate the procurement of classrooms, rehabilitation of facilities, and improvement of other supporting infrastructure. Real contributions from each party, such as CSR funding, technical assistance, community involvement, and media publications, have a significant impact on the progress of madrasahs. This success proves that a collaborative approach based on Pentha Helix can be a strategic and sustainable model in the development of education based on multi-party participation.
