Abstract

The advent of the digital era has disrupted television media with the emergence of social media that has taken root among the public. This has changed the consumption patterns of the community, which is prevalent with the existence of dual screens, namely watching two monitors simultaneously (television and gadgets). Therefore, as a local public television, TVRI South Sulawesi is striving to develop television programs, especially dakwah programs in the Disruption Era. This research explores and elaborates the strategies of TVRI South Sulawesi to face digitalization in the era of disruption, particularly in term of Islamic Propagation and Dakwah Program Strategies. This study is qualitative research refers to the fact that this research provide a deeper understanding of the phenomenon being studied which is research that leads to a more descriptive and objective data analysis refers to the fact that the data collected. The results of this research are the strategies of TVRI South Sulawesi's Islamic Propagation program in facing the era of disruption, which are to know and optimize the strategy of dakwah program in facing the era of digital competition.
