Abstract

The development of information technology requires Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) to be able to present information quickly, accurately, and transparently to the public to support professional village business management. BUMDes in Karang Baru Village still faces limitations in providing digital information, particularly regarding BUMDes profiles, business units, superior products, and business management activities. This community service activity aims to provide training and assistance in creating a website-based BUMDes profile information system as a medium for information and promotion of village businesses. The implementation method includes observation and analysis of BUMDes needs, system design, development of a BUMDes profile website, training system managers, and evaluation of activity results. This activity was carried out for three months as part of a community service program by students from Hamzanwadi University, involving BUMDes administrators and village officials. The results of the activity show that BUMDes Karang Baru Village has a profile website that contains institutional information, business units, products, activity news, and a documentation gallery. In addition, BUMDes administrators experienced an increase in understanding and skills in managing information systems independently. The conclusion of this activity is that training in creating a website-based BUMDes profile information system can increase information transparency, support village business promotion, and strengthen BUMDes governance in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

Dehydration is a condition in which the body loses more fluids than it receives, potentially causing health problems and disrupting normal body functions. One indicator of dehydration can be observed through urine color, where darker urine indicates a higher level of dehydration. This study aims to implement the K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) algorithm in an Internet of Things (IoT)- and Android-based dehydration detection system using urine color analysis. The system utilizes a TCS3200 color sensor to detect urine color, an ESP32 microcontroller to process and transmit data, and an Android application to display detection results in real time. The acquired color data are processed using the KNN algorithm to classify dehydration levels into several categories. The classification results are then displayed on the Android application along with hydration reminder notifications. System testing was conducted using 50 artificial urine color samples with varying color intensities. The results showed that the proposed system was able to classify dehydration levels with an accuracy of 92% and successfully display real-time detection results through the Android application. The developed system is expected to assist users in monitoring their hydration status easily and effectively.

Abstract

This study aims to compare the performance of three air humidity sensors—DHT11, DHT22, and 808H5V5—integrated with an ESP8266 microcontroller based on the Internet of Things (IoT). The system was designed to monitor air humidity in real-time through a web server that displays measurement data from the three sensors along with a hygrometer as a reference. Data collection was conducted every hour from 08:00 to 17:00 under stable environmental conditions. The results show that the DHT22 sensor achieved the highest accuracy, with an average deviation of 0.3% compared to the hygrometer. The 808H5V5 sensor demonstrated the fastest response with an average deviation of 0.6%, while the DHT11 sensor had an average deviation of 1.1% and slower response time. All three sensors successfully transmitted real-time data through an accessible web server. Based on these findings, the DHT22 is recommended as the most accurate sensor for IoT-based humidity monitoring systems, while the DHT11 and 808H5V5 remain suitable for simpler applications requiring moderate precision and lower cost.
