Abstract

This research focuses on the MSME Kedai Putri Tunggal which sells various kinds of children's snacks. As time goes by, the number of businesses run by the community is increasing, namely small businesses and medium businesses. MSME is an abbreviation for Enterprise, Micro, Small, Medium (Jesslyn at al., 2022). In other words, MSMEs are business entities that are practiced individually, households or small businesses. The existence of MSMEs is quite important in social life. Not only that, MSMEs also play an important role in the national economy (As Sajjad at al., 2020). With the existence of MSMEs, unemployment rates in Indonesia can be minimized by creating their own jobs (Suhartini, 2021). In carrying out business processes, of course there are risks that might hamper these business activities. Therefore, as MSMEs, you also need to know what risk management is. Risk management is needed to anticipate or reduce the possibility of risks occurring in a business. The research method used uses a descriptive analysis approach. What was obtained from an interview with UMKM "Kedai Putri Tunggal" Cimahi.

Abstract

Risk management analysis is an important aspect in maintaining the sustainability of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). This study aims to analyze risk management in MSME Seblak Raos, a culinary business that is growing amidst competition in the snack food business. A qualitative approach is used with in-depth interview methods and direct observation to identify operational, financial, and marketing risks. The results of the study indicate that the main risks faced by MSME Seblak Raos include fluctuations in raw material prices, dependence on certain suppliers, changes in consumer preferences, and price competition. To manage these risks, this MSME has implemented a product diversification strategy, built good relationships with suppliers, and increased promotion through social media. This study recommends strengthening the financial recording system and risk management training for business owners. With good risk management, MSME Seblak Raos can increase its competitiveness and business sustainability.

Abstract

Pada era digital dan persaingan bisnis yang semakin ketat, pengusaha harus siap menghadapi berbagai risiko dalam menjalankan usahanya. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis manajemen risiko pada UMKM “kaos jersey Pribumi Apparel” yang bergerak dibidang fashion khususnya olahraga. Metode penelitian yang diambil menggunakan pendekatan analisis deskriptif. Analisis ini dilakukan dengan cara mewawancara pemilik UMKM Pribumi Apparel, dan risiko yang ditanyakan kepada pemilik UMKM Pribumi Apparel meliputi risiko keuangan, risiko SDM, risiko operasional dan risiko pemasaran. Hasil dari 28 kejadian risiko yang diidentifikasi, risiko tertinggi terkait dengan kurangnya sumber daya manusia dan kurangnya pemahaman teknologi tentang pemasaran digital. Strategi mitigasi yang efektif diperlukan untuk mengatasi risiko tersebut dan meningkatkan ketahanan usaha.

Abstract

The rapid growth of e-commerce has significantly transformed consumer behavior in purchase decision-making, particularly through the roles of brand image, electronic word of mouth, and service quality. Increasing market competition requires digital platforms to build consumer trust and deliver positive experiences in order to maintain business sustainability. This study aims to analyze the influence of brand image, electronic word of mouth, and service quality on the purchase decisions of Shopee consumers in Malausma District. The research employs a quantitative approach with a causal associative design. Data were collected through a survey of consumers who had previously made purchases on Shopee and were analyzed using multiple linear regression techniques. The findings indicate that brand image, electronic word of mouth, and service quality exert a positive influence on purchase decisions, both partially and simultaneously. A strong brand image is able to shape consumer perceptions and confidence, while electronic word of mouth serves as an important information source that affects consumer attitudes and purchase intentions. Meanwhile, high service quality enhances consumer trust and comfort in conducting transactions. These findings highlight the importance of integrated digital marketing strategies through brand strengthening, effective management of consumer reviews, and continuous improvement of service quality to encourage purchase decisions on e-commerce platforms.
