Abstract

The rapid development of internet technology has encouraged many businesses, including small and medium enterprises (SMEs), to transition to web-based sales. This study aims to design and develop a web-based sales system for Muslim fashion using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method at Raihan Collection Store. The RAD method was chosen for its flexibility in adapting to user needs and accelerating the development process. The designed system includes features such as product catalogs, product details, automated stock management, and online transactions to enhance operational efficiency and expand market reach. The implementation of this system demonstrated improvements in stock management efficiency, ease of access to product information, and transaction flexibility. This study significantly contributes to supporting the digitalization of SMEs and provides guidance for future web-based e-commerce system development.

Abstract

In the business and industrial world, vendor selection is very important because it has a direct impact on the success and efficiency of a company's operations. However, subjective factors and the lack of a systematic approach often affect this process. The purpose of this study is to develop and compare Decision Support Systems (DSS) using three Multi-Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) methods: Simple Additive Weighting (SAW), Weighted Product (WP), and Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS). Data collected from five vendor evaluation criteria are price, product quality, delivery distance, after-sales service, and after-sales service. The results of data processing show that each method produces different vendor rankings, but the SAW method produces the most consistent and easy-to-understand results.
