Abstract

PT Bahana Bumi Mandiri is an experienced logistics and contractor transportation provider company since 2016 located in South Sumatera. One of the accident prevention programs at PT Bahana Bumi Mandiri’s operations is to emphasize the importance of communication with dump truck drivers, and one form of implementing this programis to ensure that the unit is on the dump truck driver when operating. The aim of this research is to find out the risk of dangerous behavior of dump truck drivers when transporting coal and to find out efforts to improve or solve the risk and behavior that have been caused by dump truck drivers when transporting coal. The standard used at PT Bahana Bumi Mandiri is P2H (Daily Inspection and Checking). The implementation of safe driving at PT Bahana Bumi Mandiri is still relatively minimal so it is necessary to add safety driving to reduce potential dangers that could occur. However, it is necessary to know first the attitude of dump truck drivers by asking question in the form of a questionnaire so the data is processed so that the results can be known. If the need for safe driving in mines is not implemented more fully, it can increase the risk of accidents or incidents in the work emvironment.

Abstract

OHS in mining activities is generally known as the Mining Occupational Health and Safety Management System (MOHS) which will regulate how and what forms of prevention and control both potential hazards or risks occur during mining activities. Drilling is one of the stages carried out before blasting activities. This is to obtain drilling fast, with the right position. The drilling, which was carried out at the Underground Mining Training Center, used a Jumbo drill and Jackleg machine. Risk identification is the process of identifying hazards, assessing risks and developing management strategies. The application of risk management has benefits including being able to guarantee business continuity by reducing the risk of every activity that contains a hazard, while the purpose of this study is to identify potential hazards and control the risk of work accidents for both workers and trainees at the Sawalunto Underground Mining Training Center.

Abstract

Selama proses penambangan, terdapat tantangan berupa ketidaksesuaian antara beberapa sumber data produksi. Tujuan penelitian adalah menentukan volume material overburden dengan metode joint survey dan data truck count periode Februari-Maret 2024, menganalisis perbandingan volume overburden antar kedua pengukuran, dan menentukan faktor yang mempengaruhi selisih volume. Hasil penelitian didapatkan nilai volume joint survey pada bulan Februari sebesar 92.191,30 BCM dan 141.882,45 BCM pada bulan Maret sedangkan volume truck count sebesar 126.294,96 BCM pada bulan Februari dan 147.818,40 BCM pada bulan Maret. Dari hasil perbandingan terdapat selisih volume sebesar -34.103,66 BCM pada bulan Februari, dan pada bulan Maret sebesar -5.935,95 BCM. Karena adanya perbedaan antara volume data survey dengan truck count, maka dapat diambil kesimpulan dengan kondisi sebenarnya data truck count tersebut dipengaruhi oleh adanya material yang lengket pada vessel CMT 106 yang ikut terhauling menuju ke pit, terdapat elevasi akhir lebih tinggi dari elevasi awal karena material hasil clearing dan grubbing ditimbun di lokasi galian quarry ikut terukur pada saat melakukan pengukuran titik koordinat akhir, adanya timbunan yang belum diangkut ke disposal kembali terukur, dan ketika di lapangan operator excavator mengurangi pengisian bucket ke dalam vessel CMT sehingga perhitungan yang dilakukan oleh admin produksi terhadap setiap ritase sebesar 28 BCM untuk LCMG CMT 106 tidak tercapai.
