Abstract

Digital marketing through Facebook social media has become an important strategy for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in expanding their reach and building relationships with customers. In this context, this study explores how Tugu Hidroponik MSMEs use the Facebook platform as a key tool for their digital marketing. Through a qualitative approach, data was collected through interviews with business owners and analysis of their social media content. The results show that Tugu Hidroponik MSMEs have successfully utilized Facebook's interactive features to increase interaction with customers, present relevant content, and expand their market share. The findings provide insights into how MSMEs can optimize their digital marketing through social media, with a particular emphasis on the Facebook platform, to increase their brand visibility and business growth.

Abstract

Social Media has become ubiquitous in society, with nearly everyone, regardless of their generation or background, having a presence on various platforms. This aligns with the reality that contemporary society already employs social media as a means to distribute knowledge. There is a consensus that social media facilitates rapid, accurate, and efficient work. Social media platforms offer a rapid means of communication and information dissemination. The objective of this study is to ascertain the utilisation of Twitter, a specific form of social media, as a platform for the dissemination of public information through the Twitter account @Jogmfs. A menfess account is a specific sort of account that allows followers to send tweets automatically through the associated Twitter account. Additional followers are welcome to offer replies, reactions, or further inquiries. This study is a qualitative descriptive research that was conducted using data obtained from interviews and a survey of existing literature. This study use Regina Luttrell's SoMe theory as a research instrument. The research findings indicate that individuals in Jogja who follow the Twitter account @jogmfs perceive Twitter as an efficient platform for exchanging information about Yogyakarta. However, it should be noted that in certain circumstances, irrelevant material is also transmitted through this Twitter account.

Abstract

The role of media relations and public relations at Diskominfo DIY is quite important, where the role is to publish information quickly, either directly or through websites and other social media. This research uses several indicators in maintaining the image at Diskominfo DIY from Frank Jefkins' theory of serving the media, services provided by public relations by providing press releases, researchers have made observations, where public relations provides services to the media in the form of press releases which are useful for answering and also responding to planned or unplanned events, this proves that Diskominfo DIY public relations practitioners apply by serving the media, where the services provided by public relations to the media are in accordance with what is needed by the media in any situation.
