Abstract

The purpose of this research is to implement the raita algorithm as a solution for searching biographies of figures in the Bible. Raita performs string matching starting from the rightmost string pattern to the leftmost string pattern that is aligned with the sting text with a predetermined shift based on the BmBc value. Raita can be used as a solution for string matching in the search for information related to the biography of figures in the Bible. In the case study conducted in this research, Raita can complete string matching to find patterns in the text very quickly, namely with only 2 (two) shifts

Abstract

The emphasis of this research is ethics awareness that places humans in balance with their natural environment. Batak culture which is inseparable from nature (the cosmos) has also cultivated the tradition of eating "Itak Gurgur" as a value of human togetherness and balance, universe and God. There is a message of the value of simplicity, honesty and balance in this tradition. Three things to eat "Itak Gurgur" as a prayer for caring for togetherness, a sacred intention for blessings and prosperity, ideals ("sada tahi"). "Itak" is rice flour that is pounded or ground into a soft, white color ("puti") as a meaning of purity and prayer to Mula Jadi (the Greatest). "Itak" diadone of coconut, palm sugar and salt, clenched into a fist, a symbol of the tenacity of burning unity. To remain in harmony with the values of unity, in natural balance. unite the agreement ("sada tahi") then comes the spirit, the burning enthusiasm to achieve success. the spirit of eating "Itak Gurgur" together brings "Omo pariama" abundant harvest and gratitude. Constructing cultural theology, eating, "Itak Gurgur" as a Batak "local sacrament", reminding the balance of life between: Humans, God and the Universe.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berfokus kepada ritual "Martutu Aek", sebagai ritual seperti baptis air ala tradisi Batak Kuno. Dengan media air pada ritual "Martutu Aek", seorang anak yang baru lahir dibawa ke umbul mata air ("Mual atau Homban"). Penulis melihat bahwa di Tanah Batak sendiri, sumber-sumber air banyak ditemukan sebagai warisan sejak leluhur marga pembuka kampung ("huta") sebagai anugerah pemberian dari Debata Mulajadi Nabolon (Tuhan Maha Esa). Mereka (sejak para leluhur Batak) menjaga dan merawatnya. Biasanya air tersebut selalu mengalir sepanjang musim tidak akan pernah kering. Ritual ini juga merupakan wujud penghormatan yang sakral oleh masyarakat Batak untuk semakin mengingat akan kebesaran Sang Pencipta. Penghormatan itu diwujudkan untuk selalu menjaga "Tanah Pusakanya" sebagai "Tanah Airnya", "Martutu Aek" dapat dijadikan rujukan untuk menumbuhkan rasa cinta tanah air. Sebuah gerakan yang perlu ditanamkan kembali untuk merawat dan menjaga tanah air Indonesia. Penulis berasumsi bahwa Ritual “Martutu Aek” merupakan bagian dari ritual batak yang dapat dikontekstualisasikan dalam rangka menanamkan nilai cinta tanah air kepada Masyarakat Batak.
