Abstract

The influence of global development in the field of technology has caused some younger generations to forget local cultural activities such as behavior, language, and traditional games, which ultimately may lead to a loss of love for the nation and the country. Universitas Pembangunan Nasional Veteran Jakarta is an educational institution with the slogan "Campus for the Defense of the Nation," making it highly appropriate to have efforts to introduce and preserve culture within the campus community. One of these efforts is to introduce the traditional game of engklek on campus. This research involves community service activities focused on creating engklek game facilities on campus so that students can recognize and practice it

Abstract

Integrated Health Service Posts (Posyandu) are a means for active community participation in the health sector. Through Posyandu, the role of cadres as the spearhead of environmental health is crucial, especially in educating the community regarding prevention efforts and early detection of various infectious diseases such as tuberculosis (TB). Bekasi City is experiencing an increase in TB cases, so it is necessary to strengthen the capacity of Posyandu cadres to be more responsive and empowered in dealing with this situation. This community service program aims to improve the knowledge and skills of Posyandu cadres in early detection and prevention of TB. The activity was carried out at Posyandu Bangau, West Bekasi, involving 22 active cadres. The implementation method used a participatory and interactive approach, through health education that emphasized the identification of TB symptoms, transmission methods, and community-based prevention strategies. Evaluations were conducted before and after the education to measure the effectiveness of the activity. The evaluation results showed an 80% increase in cadre knowledge after attending the education. This achievement demonstrates that the delivery of accurate and communicative information is very effective in increasing Posyandu cadre awareness. Capacity building for cadres is not only crucial as an initial step in TB prevention, but also as a sustainable effort to build collective community awareness. With the active involvement of cadres and support from health workers, TB risk detection and prevention can be carried out more optimally and comprehensively.

Abstract

This study aims to systematically examine the influence of transformational leadership and organizational culture on nurses' performance in hospitals. The method used is a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) with a qualitative approach. The findings indicate that transformational leadership has a significant impact on improving nurses’ performance, particularly through enhanced work motivation, job satisfaction, loyalty, and team effectiveness. Transformational leaders inspire nurses by providing a vision, encouraging innovation, and fostering a supportive environment that aligns with their values and goals. As a result, nurses exhibit increased commitment to their work, higher engagement levels, and a proactive attitude toward their tasks, leading to better overall performance. Organizational culture also plays a crucial role, especially values such as collaboration, human orientation, and integrity, which have been shown to support a positive work environment and nurse productivity. A culture that prioritizes teamwork, shared responsibility, and mutual respect enables nurses to work more cohesively and efficiently. Hospitals with a supportive and inclusive culture experience reduced turnover rates and higher job satisfaction, as nurses feel valued and respected within the organization. Additionally, when the culture encourages continuous learning and professional development, nurses are more likely to stay updated on best practices and provide high-quality care to patients. However, differences in findings across studies suggest the need for contextual understanding and consistent internalization of cultural values. Factors such as geographical location, hospital size, and leadership styles may influence the degree of impact that transformational leadership and organizational culture have on nurse performance. Therefore, it is essential to adapt leadership strategies and cultural initiatives to the unique needs and challenges of each healthcare setting.

Abstract

Limited sanitation facilities among street vendors, particularly those selling meatballs, chicken noodles, and porridge, often pose a problem that impacts food safety. One common practice is repeatedly washing bowls and spoons with just a bucket of water, followed by drying the utensils with a cloth. This contaminated water can transmit pathogenic microorganisms that cause foodborne illnesses, increasing the risk of health problems for consumers. This problem requires a practical solution that street vendors can implement, taking into account limited space, mobility, and operational costs. This community service activity used a pre-experimental design method with a simple technological engineering approach to improve the sanitation of tableware. The innovation developed was a portable bowl washer made from used mineral water gallons, modified to be mobile, efficient, and water-efficient. The manufacturing process included design, assembly, testing, and evaluation with street vendors. Success was measured by observing the level of cleanliness of the tableware before and after use, as well as assessing the level of satisfaction and ease of use by the vendors. The results showed that the implementation of this portable sanitation device increased the effectiveness of tableware washing, reduced the repeated use of dirty water, and minimized the risk of cross-contamination. Partnering vendors stated that the device is practical, lightweight, and doesn't disrupt their sales activities. They hope this innovation will be replicated by other vendors and that local governments will consider implementing it as a standard for mobile food sanitation. This effort will not only improve the hygiene of eating utensils but also contribute to preventing foodborne illnesses in the community.

Abstract

Pertamini or mini gas station is a retail business of fuel oil such as pertalit and pertramak carried out by the community. The absence of strict regulations regarding safety has caused many fire incidents involving it. ALOHA modeling is a tool for analyzing fire risks and their impacts, so that it can be a consideration of vigilance for perpetrators and the surrounding community. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effects of fires and explosions at the Dukuh Pertamini gas station in 2024. This study is a quantitative descriptive study using ALOHA software. The results of the study showed that the storage tank could create a fire pool with a diameter of 10 meters. If this happens, a flash fire can occur up to a distance of 60 meters, the heat of which can be felt up to 150 meters from the center of the explosion.

Abstract

Health service management has an important role in managing resources effectively and efficiently, dealing with the dynamics of community needs, and ensuring quality health services through a systematic and humanistic approach. However, there are still shortcomings in the availability of adequate resources and managerial skills of implementing officers in service units that do not meet the standards. This study aims to analyze the direct impact of health management on accessibility, quality, effectiveness, and policy-making in health services. This study uses a literature review method with data sources obtained from Google Scholar, National Library e-Resources, and Garuda Portal. The research data was taken from 2015-2025. Based on the literature review, effective health management includes strategic planning, strengthening internal management, managing human resources, community involvement, and utilizing technology. The implementation of health management is proven to improve the competence of health workers, accelerate service processes, and increase patient satisfaction. In addition, good health management also encourages the expansion of health facility distribution, maintains the availability of drugs and medical devices, and improves the quality of infrastructure. However, there are challenges that need to be overcome, such as limited human resources and challenges in implementing Electronic Medical Records (EMR) in various healthcare facilities. The review shows that health management positively impacts accessibility, service quality, effectiveness, and evidence-based policymaking. Effective strategies include strategic planning, internal managemen human resource management, technology use, and community involvement, although challenges like limited human resources and Electronic Medical Record implementation remain
