<![CDATA[Abstrak - Di sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri 2 Botumoito pemilihan siswa terbaik biasanya hanya dipilih berdasarkan nilai raport yang menduduki pringkat 1-5. Proses pemilihan tersebut banyak terdapat peluang untuk membuat keputusan yang salah karena proses pemilihan siswa hanya berdasarkan 1 aspek yaitu nilai akhir siswa,kemungkinan besar siswa terbaik yang dipilih tidak mencapai standar yang diinginkan dan tidak memperoleh kandidat yang terbaik. Oleh karena itu untuk menentukan siswa berprestasi maka harus menggunakan metode Multi Objective Optimization by Ratio yang dirancang menggunakan aplikasi visual studio dan database MySQL untuk mempermudah dalam pengambilan keputusan siswa terbaik yang ada di sekolah menengah pertama negeri 2 botumoito ditentukan dari menjumlahkan hasil penilaian kriteria-kriteria yang ada dengan bobot yang ditentukan. Hasil akhir sistem ini adalah memberikan output rekomendasi perengkingan siswa dari nilai alterntif yang tertinggi hingga nilai terendah.
