Abstract

The Value of Character Education in the Novel Guru Aini by Andrea Hirata. This study aims to describe the value of character education. This type of research is a descriptive qualitative approach. The data source in this research is the novel Guru Aini by Andrea Hirata. Data collection is done by using documentation techniques. The data obtained were analyzed in three stages, namely: data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that in this novel, there are five main character education values, namely religious, nationalist, independent, mutual cooperation, and integrity. when transformed into 18 values of character education, religious values are found, honesty, tolerance, discipline, hard work, creative, independent, democratic, curiosity, national spirit, love for the homeland, respect for achievement, friendly/communicative, peace-loving, fond of reading , care for the environment, care for social, and responsibility. Furthermore, there are five methods of character education, namely teaching, lots of example, lots of motivation, lots of habituation, and lots of rule approaches.

Abstract

Tanaman Nangka atau dikenal dengan nama latin Artocarpus heterophyllus Lamk merupakan suatu tanaman daerah tropis yang biasanya hanya dimanfaatkan pada bagian daging buahnya saja. Sedangkan terdapat kandungan pati dan selulosa pada kulit buah nangka yang dapat dimanfaatkan lebih lanjut. Salah satunya yaitu untuk pembuatan plastik . Pemanfaatan kulit nangka untuk dijadikan plastik mampu mengurangi limbah organik dan limbah plastik yang tidak dapat terurai yang jumlahnya cukup banyak di Indoneseia. Pada penelitian ini dikajii proses pembuatan plastik dari kulit nangka dengan penggunaan variasi yang berbeda yaitu suhu pemanasan, volume gliserol, serta konsentrasi pati dari kulit nangka. Dilanjutkan analisa atau pengujian yaitu analisa ketebalan plastik, ketahanan panas, ketahanan air, serta kemampuan biodegradasi. Didapatkan keadaan optimasi pada proses pembuatan plastik biodegradable dari limbah kutit buah nangka yaitu dengan variabel ekstrak pati kulit nangka (M) 14 gr, suhu pemanasan (T) 80oC, dan volume gliserol (V) 11 mL. Menghasilkan plastik biodegradable dengan ketebalan 0,59 mm, ketahanan panas 131oC, ketahanan air 72,88%, dan kemampuan biodegradasi 80,26%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of work stress and supervisor support on employee performance at Shopee Express Sribawono Branch. Employee performance served as the dependent variable, while work stress and supervisor support were the independent variables. This study employed a quantitative method with an associative approach. The research involved 100 employees, and the entire population was used as the sample through the total sampling technique. The data were processed and analyzed using SPSS software. Data were collected through the distribution of questionnaires using a Likert scale. The analyses included validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, t-tests, F-tests, and coefficient of determination analysis. The results of the study indicate that work stress has a negative and significant effect on employee performance, with a significance value of 0.003 < 0.05, while supervisor support has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, with a significance value of 0.001 < 0.05. Furthermore, work stress and supervisor support simultaneously have a significant effect on employee performance, with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05.
