Abstract

This research examines the influence of traditional games on children's social interactions at Al-Mutakkin TPA. Traditional games, such as Domikado and Snakes and Ladders, are used as a means to strengthen children's social relationships. With an experimental research design and data collection methods through participant observation, this research involved children aged 6-12 years as subjects. The research results show that traditional games can improve children's social interaction skills, such as cooperation, communication and empathy. These findings underline the importance of preserving traditional games as an educational tool in supporting children's social development.

Abstract

Adolescents who live in Islamic Boarding Schools are prone to experiencing self-acceptance problems. The ability to accept one’s self can be influenced by one of their social support. The study aims to determine the relationship between social support and self-acceptance in adolescents at Al Islam Islamic Boarding School, Gorontalo Regency. Quantitative research with a cross-sectional study approach. The independent variable is social support, while the dependent variable is self-acceptance. The population is adolescents in seventh grade with as many as 228 people. The sample was 45 people with a purposive sampling technique. Data were collected by questionnaire and analyzed using product moment and linearity tests. The results showed that adolescents at Al-Islam Islamic Boarding School mostly had moderate social support (62.2%) and moderate self-acceptance (57.8%). The results of the analysis obtained a significance value (ρ) of 0.001, an F deviation from linearity value of 1.096, and a p-value of 0.403 (>0.05). It is concluded that there is a relationship between social support and adolescent self-acceptance at Al-Islam Islamic Boarding School, Gorontalo Regency.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the relationship between social support and self-adjustment in female students of Class VII MTs at the Al-Falah Islamic Boarding School. This researchuses a quantitative research design with a population of 45 female students. The total sample was 45 female students using total sampling technique. The research results showed the level of social support for female students is in the medium categoryat 28 with 62.2%. Mean while female students' self-adjustment was in the medium category at 31 with 68.9%. Based on the results of the spearmenrank correlationtest with a correlationvalue (r) of 0.498 and a sig value (p) = 0.000 (p<0.05). Thus it can be concluded, thereis a positive relationship between social support and self adjustment in class VII MTs female students at the Al-Falah Islamic boarding school. This shows the higher social support, the better student's self-adjustment
