Abstract

Program penurunan stunting pada kecamatan Juai sudah berjalan sejak tahun 2017 hingga sekarang, namun masih belum mampu menekan angka stunting pada kecamatan Juai, masalah ini terus terjadi disebabkan oleh beberapa hal seperti : kurangnya pemahaman dan pengetahuan masyarakat tentang program perbaikan dan penyuluhan gizi dan rendahnya kesadaran masyarakat untuk berpartisipasi pada program keluarga berencana (KB). Penelitan ini bertujuan untuk efektivitas program penurunan stunting pada UPT Puskesmas Juai (Studi kasus pada Desa Buntu Karau dan Hukai Kecamatan Juai Kabupaten Balangan) dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhinya. Metode Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan tipe deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Sumber data diambil melalui penarikan Informan secara Purposive Sampling berjumlah 14 orang. Setelah data terkumpul kemudian dianalisis dengan teknik meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Pengujian kredibilitas data melalui perpanjangan pengamatan, meningkatkan ketekunan, triangulasi, menggunakan bahan referensi dan member check

Abstract

Objective: This study aims to evaluate the level of community satisfaction with the services provided by the Hulu Sungai Utara District Regional Library and determine the Community Satisfaction Index (IKM) based on several service indicators. Method: A descriptive quantitative research design was employed, utilizing a sample of 94 respondents. Data were collected through questionnaires, observations, literature reviews, and documentation. The research used the Public Satisfaction Index (IKM) analysis, as prescribed by PERMENPAN-RB No. 14 of 2017, which applies a Likert scale to assess satisfaction across nine service elements. Results: The study found a Community Satisfaction Index of 76.1, placing the service quality in the "Less Good/Unsatisfied" category. While the highest satisfaction was recorded for requirements (79.4), the lowest was for facilities and infrastructure (74.2). Four service indicators, including completion time and staff competence, were identified as needing improvement. Novelty: This research provides valuable insights into public satisfaction with regional library services, highlighting specific service areas for enhancement and offering recommendations for improving overall service quality. It contributes to the body of knowledge on public service evaluation in Indonesia, particularly in library services.

Abstract

Objective: This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the Youth, Sports, and Tourism Office in empowering youth organizations in Balangan Regency, and to identify the factors influencing this empowerment. Method: A qualitative research approach was employed, utilizing descriptive-qualitative techniques. Data were gathered through interviews, observation, and documentation, with a purposive sampling method selecting 10 participants. The analysis involved data reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions, ensuring credibility through member checks and persistent observation. Results: The findings indicated that while the organizational structure of youth organizations in Balangan Regency is clear, there are issues with resource allocation, inadequate leadership, and poor cooperation between youth organizations and the local government. The annual youth development budget was deemed insufficient, and youth organizations faced difficulties in implementing strategic programs due to a lack of coordination and limited resources. Novelty: This research highlights the gap between the government’s policies for youth empowerment and the practical challenges faced by youth organizations, offering insights into the need for improved resource management, cooperation, and leadership to enhance the effectiveness of youth empowerment programs.
