Abstract

ABSTRAK Proses pembelajaran di SMPN 2 Lampasio Kab. Tolitoli Sulawesi Tengah, bahwa metode pembelajaran yang digunakan kurang inovatif dan menarik bagi siswa sehingga siswa merasa bosan, jenuh, dan malas dalam mengikuti pembelajaran. Penelitian bertujuan untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa kelas VII-B mata pelajaran IPS/Ekonomi, melalui model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) dan Projek Based Learning (PjBL). Peneliti menggunakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) pada siswa kelas VII-B SMPN 2 Lampasio Tolitoli tahun pelajaran 2023/2024. Hasil pada penelitian ini, yang bisa diberikan solusi terhadap permasalahan yang ada yaitu dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) dan Projek Based Learning (PjBL) untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar IPS /Ekonomi siswa kelas VII-B SMPN 2 Lampasio Tolitoli, dengan hasil penelitian dapat dilihat melalui pembelajaran secara langsung,bahwa siswa kelas VII-B pada siklus 1 sudah mulai meningkat, hal ini dapat dibuktikan melalui lembar observasi bahwa siswa sudah memahami pembelajaran yang telah disajikan oleh pendidik. Setelah melanjutkan siklus ke II mengalami peningkatan siswa dapat menerapkan dan mempresentasikan hasil karya keterampilan “Daur Ulang” dengan baik. Dengan demikian penerapan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) dan Projek Based Learning (PjBL) berpengaruh dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS /Ekonomi kelas VII-B di SMPN 2 Lampasio Tolitoli. Kata kunci: Model Pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL), Projek Based Learning(PjBL), Motivasi belajar siswa. ABSTRACT The learning process at SMPN 2 Lampasio Kab. The research aims to increase the learning motivation of class VII-B students in Social Sciences/Economics subjects, through the Problem Based Learning (PBL) and Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning models. Researchers used Classroom Action Research (PTK) on class VII-B students at SMPN 2 Lampasio Tolitoli for the 2023/2024 academic year. The results of this research, which can provide solutions to existing problems, are by applying the Problem Based Learning (PBL) and Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning models to increase the motivation to learn Social Sciences/Economics for class VII-B students at SMPN 2 Lampasio Tolitoli, with results research can be seen through direct learning, that class VII-B students in cycle 1 have begun to improve, this can be proven through observation sheets that students have understood the learning that has been presented by the educator. After continuing the second cycle, students experienced improvement in being able to apply and present the results of their "Recycling" skills well. Thus, the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) and Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning models has an effect in increasing students' learning motivation in the Social Sciences/Economics subject class VII-B at SMPN 2 Lampasio Tolitoli.
