Abstract

This analysis examines the student enrollment patterns at Politeknik ELBajo Commodus, highlighting the geographic dynamics and their impact on student recruitment. Utilizing the Density-Based Spatial Clustering of Applications with Noise (DBSCAN) algorithm and calculating the physical distance between students' original schools and the Politeknik campus, the study reveals clear geographic clusters, with a high concentration of students near the Politeknik, as well as the identification of prospective students from underrepresented remote areas. The analysis results indicate that distance is a factor influencing enrollment decisions, with students living closer to the campus more likely to enroll. These findings underscore the need for tailored marketing and recruitment strategies, which not only strengthen relationships with schools in clustered areas but also create initiatives targeting remote areas. This research provides recommendations for the development of programs designed to attract students from various geographic backgrounds, as well as the importance of ongoing research to ensure the alignment of the applied strategies with the needs and preferences of prospective students. In conclusion, Politeknik ELBajo Commodus can enhance its recruitment strategies by adopting a more focused approach and a greater diversification in its student base. keywords: Geospatial Analysis, DBSCAN Clustering, Recruitment Strategies, Educational Marketing, Access to Education.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to evaluate how well the hybrid decision support system approach evaluates and suggests business financing. Using five criteria—guarantee, income, loan application form (FPP), business establishment permit (SIUP), and guarantee tax—the hybrid technique combines the SAW and TOPSIS approaches. Testing is done on the methods in order to undertake method performance analysis. This seeks to determine the hybrid method's degree of assessment accuracy. The accuracy of debtor rankings is tested using the mean average precision (MAP) technique in this testing procedure. applying the top 10 ranking data, the mean average precision technique was used to test the SAW-TOPSIS method's performance analysis. The results demonstrated that the method had extremely good accuracy, with a value of 83.7%, when applying the test results. The results of the MAP-based data collection method can be analyzed using the hybrid SAW-TOPSIS method, and the data analysis for the hitungan can be further developed by combining more data and analyzing it using more data collection techniques to obtain different results.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to apply a Decision Support System approach to evaluate and suggest business credit approval at Tani Karya Sejahtera Cooperative. Technique for Order by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) is the name of this approach. Five criteria are used in this research: Building Land Tax (PBB), Income, Guarantee, Business Establishment Permit (SIUP), and Loan Application Form (FPP). In addition to applying the Topsis approach, method testing was done. This seeks to determine the most relevant/appropriate approach to assessment-taking. The accuracy of debtor rankings is tested using the MAP approach as part of the testing procedure. Using the top 10 ranking data, the MAP methodology was used to assess the TOPSIS method's implementation. The test results indicated that the TOPSIS method was a method with good accuracy, with a MAP test value of 66%. Since the TOPSIS method demonstrated a fairly high degree of accuracy in this study, it is believed that more research will be able to refine the approach.
