Abstract

Sebagian anak-anak mengalami kesulitan dalam mengingat ataupun mengenal huruf dan angka. Hal ini dikarenakan cara penyampaian dan media yang digunakan masih kurang menarik. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan rancang bangun dan menguji kelayakan media pembelajaran berbasis video animasi mengenal huruf dan angka untuk menstimulasi kemampuan kognitif dan bahasa pada anak usia dini. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan dengan model ADDIE. Pengguna dan ahli ini adalah ahli isi pembelajaran, ahli desain pembelajaran, ahli media pembelajaran, 3 orang anak untuk uji perorangan dan 5 orang anak untuk uji kelompok kecil pada kelompok A. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan metode kuesioner. Data diolah menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil uji kelayakan memperoleh hasil yaitu: ahli isi pembelajaran memperoleh 89,58% dengan kualifikasi baik, ahli desain pembelajaran memperoleh 90,00% dengan kualifikasi sangat baik, ahli media pembelajaran memperoleh 92,30% dengan kualifikasi sangat baik, uji coba perorangan memperoleh 95,83% dengan kualifikasi sangat baik dan uji coba kelompok kecil 90,00%. Jadi dapat diambil kesimpulkan bahwa produk media pembelajaran berbasis video animasi mengenal huruf dan angka ini layak digunakan untuk menstimulasi kemampuan kognitif dan bahasa dalam kegiatan proses pembelajaran pada anak usia dini. Implikasi dalam penelitian ini adalah media ini dapat dijadikan solusi dari permasalahan terkait variasi pembelajaran.

Abstract

Teachers solely rely on textbooks and lecture methods in teaching. This makes students feel less engaged and bored in learning, thus hindering children's letter recognition abilities from reaching their maximum potential. This research aims to develop interactive PowerPoint multimedia to enhance letter recognition abilities in Group B children. The research adopts a development research design. The ADDIE model is utilized in the development process. Data collection methods include observation, interviews, and questionnaires. Data collection instruments consist of questionnaires and observation sheets. Data analysis employs quantitative analysis and sample-dependent t-test techniques. The study involves 24 children from Group B. The results reveal expert assessments on design at 90% (excellent category), learning content at 91.6% (excellent category), instructional design experts at 96.87% (excellent category), multimedia experts at 93.75% (excellent category), individual trials at 93.33% (excellent category), and small group trials at 92.70% (excellent category). The effectiveness test of the interactive PowerPoint multimedia yields tvalue = 13.948 > ttable = 2.069, thus rejecting H0 and accepting H1 because the post-test score is higher than the pre-test score. Consequently, it can be concluded that the use of interactive PowerPoint multimedia effectively enhances letter recognition abilities in Group B children. The implication of this research is that interactive PowerPoint multimedia can develop letter recognition abilities for Group B children.

Abstract

Mathematics learning in elementary schools is still dominated by conventional approaches that lack active and meaningful student engagement, resulting in low conceptual understanding. This study aims to develop and prove the effectiveness of an interactive Student Worksheet (LKPD) based on Project Based Learning (PjBL) to enhance the engagement and learning outcomes of fourth-grade elementary school students. This research is a development study using the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The research subjects consisted of 25 fourth-grade students. The data collection methods and instruments included interviews, observations, and questionnaires. Data analysis techniques used were descriptive quantitative, qualitative, and inferential analysis. The results showed that the developed interactive LKPD had a very high level of validity and practicality, and it was effective in improving students’ conceptual understanding in mathematics and collaboration skills. The implications of this study indicate that project-based learning media designed according to the characteristics of elementary students can serve as an innovative solution to improve the quality of mathematics learning in a meaningful and enjoyable way.
