Abstract

This study discusses the analysis of the concept of family resilience in the care carried out by a single father due to divorce due to the death of the mother and describes the dynamics of the father's dual role. The purpose of this article is to provide new knowledge about family resilience carried out by single fathers in their care at home. Data collection was carried out by literature study analyzing scientific journals from reputable journals both nationally and internationally. The results show that aspects of family resilience (physical aspects, health aspects, social aspects, and psychological aspects) in single fathers have an impact on the father's parenting in raising children. Losing a mother figure affects the father's dual role in the family, both financial responsibility and childcare responsibility. The tendency of authoritarian, permissive, and situational parenting by single fathers with the help of parties of the opposite sex outside the nuclear family. The father's dual role in parenting also has an impact on the consequences of trauma on children such as cognitive or academic problems at school, social functioning, and attention deficits.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze single parent parenting on the social and emotional development of early childhood through a systematic literature review method. Children need a process to develop, every child's development requires support from the environment around them. The first environment that influences children is the family. Parents play a role in the growth and development of their children. Parents are the first people to provide care and education to children. If parents divorce, it will affect their social and emotional development. The systematic literature review method was used to collect and analyze findings from previous research relevant to this topic. This research will provide an overview of single parent parenting on the social and emotional development of early childhood. The results of this research show that parenting carried out by single parents by inviting children to discuss, tell each other stories and express their opinions is a way for parents, both mothers and fathers, to continue to provide care, provide love and time for children amidst the limited presence of complete parents and there is good communication between father and mother and children so that children do not feel abandoned due to divorce.

Abstract

Kajian literatur dalam penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis berbagai penelitian yang telah mengkaji peran nilai-nilai kearifan lokal budaya Sunda dalam memperkuat perkembangan sosial emosional anak usia dini dengan pendekatan bibliometrik. Data diperoleh dari basis data Publish or Perish dengan rentang publikasi tahun 2021–2025 melalui penelusuran kata kunci yang berkaitan dengan anak usia dini, perkembangan sosial emosional, dan kearifan lokal. Berdasarka pencarian terdap-at 810 artikel relevan. Analisis bibliometrik dilakukan menggunakan perangkat lunak VOSviewer dengan teknik co-word analysis untuk memetakan tema-tema utama penelitian. Hasil analisis menunjukkan beberapa tema dominan, yaitu peran nilai budaya lokal dalam pembentukan sosial emosional anak usia dini, integrasi kearifan lokal dalam praktik pendidikan anak usia dini, serta kontribusi lingkungan sosial dan komunitas dalam menumbuhkan empati, kerja sama, dan pengendalian emosi anak. Nilai-nilai kearifan lokal budaya Sunda, seperti silih asih, silih asah, dan silih asuh, menempati posisi strategis sebagai sumber belajar kontekstual yang mendukung perkembangan sosial emosional anak secara holistik. Kebaruan penelitian ini terletak pada pemetaan sistematis tren penelitian berbasis bibliometrik terkait penguatan sosial emosional anak usia dini melalui kearifan lokal budaya Sunda. Temuan penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi rujukan bagi peneliti, pendidik, dan pembuat kebijakan dalam merancang pembelajaran anak usia dini yang kontekstual, berakar pada budaya lokal, dan berkelanjutan.
